If the people with the fancy degrees say what he wants to here than yes having a degree makes you smart but if they don't then no.

Bob has been pressed about an objective standard for what smart is and the screenshots are in the thread somewhere but he refused to set any standard for what it is. Whether because he realizes the eugenics connection, or that people will start bringing up conservatives who meet that standard, or if he's just scared people will point out how well he meets that standard I don't know.

I'm genuinely curious as to where Bob got the idea that he's a survivalist from, did he watch shitty survival shows as a young teen or something? Or does he just assume that if the mayo ghouls can survive in the wilderness, then surely a superior human such as himself could as well?

This is exactly what Bob believes. He seems to think anything the mayo ghouls can do he can do 100X better. So if people who basically lived in the woods their entire lives and learned how to live off the land from their parents and grand parents can do it, so can bob. A man who has never been in anything more rural than a public park. and whose idea of roughing it is a slow wifi connection. Bob has absolutely no idea what its like to go camping much less survive in the woods.

I believe that Robert is technically correct when he says nobody has punched him in the mouth for saying his bullshit who didn't immediately regret it, mainly because Robert wouldn't dare mouth off to anyone who might actually do that IRL. Isn't there video of someone asking him a semi-tough question at a con once and he basically started stammering and tripping over himself trying to dodge the question?
