Guys, keep in mind that in his book Cinema Robert admitted to bullying other kids in school on occasion to try and get the cool kids to like him. From the sound of it, it didn't work. The ironic thing about this is that Bob doesn't oppose things like populism, democracy or majority rules because he has a firm belief in individual rights.

Yep, he hates anything that makes him feel any less special. He loves the MCU because it lets him impress everyone with his limited comic book knowledge. He hates Pokemon because it made Nintendo mainstream and so he couldn't feel like he was the most important part of a select group.
