But along with that, Iger has caused Disney to skyrocket it’s debt to $52 billion. So with the next CEO, I can definitely see them selling off parts of the company they don’t need (like Muppets or A+E Networks). I could say Fox since they’ve so far shown to not be invested in it, but they I realized no one wants to be their gutted Fox studio now.

I am very surprised that he would step down after the purchase of Fox, like he deliberately shat in the apartment and smeared it all over with holes in the walls and leave it for the people who'll buy it.

Aw, but Francis was actually endearing though. I mean his first instinct when he sees a girl is to pull her into a dating sim where can act sauve. Whenever I see Bob do anything I either cringe or hang my head in shame because fact that he even exists probably means we’re getting closer to the point where society starts developing too rapidly and it collapses in on itself.

Too lazy to look up specific posts but over in the Star Wars thread people knew Bob Iger wanted out for a while. I think the latest information was that he'd step down after the Fox merger, and here we are. If Bob kept up with information relevant to his job instead of raging at Republicans on twitter 24/7, he would have seen this coming too.

It's mostly thanks to his unending Twitter addiction and various kiwis that keep braving it day after day to bring back his latest garbage takes. Due to his complete lack of filter, we get to witness every one of his thoughts and ideas at full strength. His arrogant behavior, unwarranted self-importance, and utter contempt for those who don't share his views get lots of reactions, and there's always plenty to dissect and make fun of.
If he wasn't posting so much bile on a daily (nay, hourly) basis, then this thread would probably be pretty dull on the whole. His videos are poorly created and his reviews/criticism are awful, so there's little to discuss there. Thanks to Twitter, Bobby's about to hit the big 2500. Depending on what happens with the elections, it's not outside the realm of possibility that we could hit 3000 before the year is out.

Yeah, his reviews are so banal I had to stop watching because it always came down to "It wasn't what I wanted in it." But I stopped watching his stuff back in like 2011 so I never saw the sperg out. Also I don't use twitter. I will definitely need to go through the thread and have a good laugh at him. Just amazes me to see him with that much to talk about.

Back on topic, Bob has been pretty quiet lately. He seems to be sulking over Sonic existing right now, only occasionally posting lukewarm takes about politics. We know this won't last, so what do you think will be the next thing that sets him off? I'm guess someone he doesn't like doing well in the upcoming election.

I do not know why they would need to budget and/or rebuild sets because of actors with disabilities unless this "respectfully-produced modern feature" is gonna go down the Tiptoes route. Now that I've said that I really want this movie to be made.

I both own and have seen The Cripple Masters and in it the guy with no arms Voltrons with the guy with no legs with a makeshift harness that pops out of no arm's back. No arms kicks from the front and no legs punches from the back. At one point in the movie, I shit you not, no legs butt stomps a guy to death like he's Mario 64. I have no idea how you would make something like this even remotely respectful in Bob and his ilks eyes. It like saying "How do you do persons of color and fellow white people. I'm going to be doing a tasteful remake of Boss Nigger that is completely respectful and in line with our modern values and stays true to the source!"

And even if Abrams is such a retarded diva that he thinks that his prop needs to maneuver itself to their dressing room (the fuck?), that doesn't justify the rising the cost of smaller productions that work with whatever sets and props they can get a hold of. Sad truth is, film making is expensive, adapting sets for disabled actors is a cost that can be simple to avoid by just getting abled ones, and so productions will do that.
It's cool if you wanna advocate for disabled actor to have more opportunities, but don't bring such a bullshit story as a "see guys, it can be done", you smug ass.
