I think they were Bob projecting. Because he thinks about how to kill people all the time, he assumes that's what other people do. The media has spent literally decades pretending that vast swathes of the US population are hysterical and rioting, back to the hoax over Orson Welles' War of the Worlds. They're so clueless about it that I recall reporters breathlessly reporting on panic while right behind them you can see people walking casually around, walking their dogs, and plainly giving zero thought to whatever it was they were supposed to be rioting over. • EXTREME grandiosity — takes himself WAY too seriously
• Talks down to the viewer and reader at all times, no exceptions; seems to have real contempt for his audience
• Immature af
• Overuse of quotation marks
• Incorrect use of hyphens
• Lives in a fantasy world most of his waking hours, between gaming, imagining his Superior Future, dreaming up alternative endings/plots to every movie he sees, etc
• Lacks basic human empathy or any apparent shred of kindness (while also posturing as the guy with the most impeccable morals, of course)
• Is never happy and probably never was
• Provincial af but thinks of himself as cosmopolitan and worldly
• Fucked up worldview and corresponding politics
• Has a truly unfortunate, ugly face

Not even white trash does what Bobby fucking does with food. Even Jack Scalfani doesn't use Mtn Dew for the acid base, and if he did? He'd still know you only do it for a day unlike smoothbrain over here.

This is the post that put Bob on my radar last week and made me check out who tf this mess was. You know the idea that even a person’s grocery list is a little autobiography? Bob has no idea how much his food posts reveal about him. And I hope he never does, lest we be deprived of these lulz.

BTW, food can SOUND like a joke but it can’t taste like a joke. That’s why even celebrated chefs in Europe will cook their ham in Coke, for example. (I’ll refrain from going into autistic detail about this, but many such chefs and cookery writers get a kick out of trying the kind of recipes you’d find in some church cookbook from the southern US, tweaking if necessary and sharing what they love. It’s a thing.) But Bob’s —ahem — flavor profiles and methods are just obviously disastrous ideas. And imagine not knowing any better than to brag on social media about marinating raw meat for five fucking days.

TL;DR Bob’s a total rube who makes the typical mayonnaise ghoul home cook look like a sophisticate.

That's the magic of Robert Chipman. He'll have nothing but repetitive rants about obsolete mayonnaise ghouls or raves about blockbuster movies for weeks or months on end, and it'll seem like the cow is going dry and getting boring. Then he'll drop some solid gold power leveling like "The future I EARNED" or "a small meal for an average sized person" and start a whole new cycle of dunking and his angry defenses or pointedly ignoring it will begin.

The thing about Bob is that he tries to hide his power level and stick to what he thinks is "safe" which is why he goes through dry spells, but he's terrible at hiding his power level because he doesn't understand what acceptable normal behavior is, so sooner or later the milk will flow again.

It's also pretty telling that when people think he's a horrible hateful person, he'll say it's lies and whine about leftists not liking him but he won't adjust his behavior in any way, but when people start laughing at him he'll adjust his behavior to try to dodge more jokes at his expense. He'd rather be seen as hateful than a joke, although of course he's both. He hasn't shown pictures of his cooking for a long time because everyone was dunking on him over the Mountain Dew chicken. He did eventually go back to shitty Mario cosplay though, so there's a chance we may see more of Moviebob master chef at some point in the future.
