Honestly if you're an employee of any retail business and you yell "Fuck" anything at a potential customer you need to be fired. Businesses thrive on positive impressions from the public and repeat business. A provoked cashier swearing at a customer is understandable and I'd let them off with a warning; but if you're a manager you should know better and be capable of acting like a professional adult.
It has nothing to do with the right side of history (much as I find that concept asinine) and everything to do with, when you're on the clock and wearing a company's name, you are an representative of that company and you should be expected to be a professional in the workplace. You want to voice your opinion outside of work? That's your right. But as soon as you clock in you should be all business.

I disagree. I think Bob would offer some fart-sniffing, overblown, obviously performative praise of all of these guys, just because it's what's expected of sophisticated critics. There would be some astonishingly terrible hot takes, and there would be obvious signifiers that he had no clue what he was watching, and there would likely be some interpretations he clearly lifted from other critics and professors, but just to prove he's a Man of Taste and Culture, he would at least pretend to appreciate these films.
Does he actually enjoy them? Haha, of course not.
