The actual tweet has long since been deleted.

Since then he hasn't actually stated any direct support for eugenics. The eugenics is actually more of a meme at this point. It plays very well with his very fascistic attitudes and beliefs. He has this bizarre superiority complex and is constantly calling the people he doesn't like some form of lesser life forms, i.e. not even human. He has been doing this for almost a decade. He's incredibly bitter about his station in life and wants to remove/punish EVERYONE that stole his rocket ships from him.

Flat out stating that he wants people hurt for "stealing what may well end up having been a half a year of my life".

His comments on the Midwest (or really anyone not on the coast but he seems to have a particular dislike for the Midwest), farmers, manual laborers and his derision for them are too numerous for me to pick just one that encompasses Bob's hatred for them. All of this is doubly hilarious with his claims that he is for the working man and is, in fact, part of the working class.

Funny how I literally just watched The Death of Stalin tonight (great movie, highly recommend), and then I see this tweet. You think Bobby understands that the revolution is not so easily placated? I think there are problems with the quote as written; (since no one is allowed to criticize underage cancer patients, does that mean that underage cancer patients are ruling over us all?) There are also plenty of powerful institutions that don't care what the lower orders have to say about them, since their rule is so secure that they know they're essentially bulletproof. So Bob is right about the quote being inaccurate, but he's obfuscating the truth as well. He totally downplays how badly a powerful group with thin skin could fuck up the life of a person who criticizes it.

A more accurate version of that quote might be, "To find out which groups rule over you, find out which ones will fuck you up for thwarting their desires or for opposing their will." Cops, The IRS, and the Twitter Mob have the power to fuck you up, but the things you have to do to tick them off will vary in deed and scope and may or may not include actual criticism.

the thing quotes arent meant to be a catch all, bobert and co thinks quotes are supposed to be universal commandments by higher powers that ought not be questioned or amended with caveats. rules of thumb are made with the knowledge that there are of course exceptions maybe even common ones, i doubt voltaire made that quote with his thumb up his ass blind to all the cases that isnt true, its made solely to make you think about situations where power is obfuscated and censorship is under wraps or more subtle threats are made or more unquestioned social norms wrongfully restrict
