A while ago I would agree with you but recently, whenever there is some divergence on a "dangerous" subject on Robert's side he tends to avoid it or ride the fence.

Robert doesn't have a problem going against lefties, as it is evident for his hatred of the blue collar workers. But, if it is anything related to identity politics (you know, the stuff that gets people canceled) and more so, their place in pop culture bullshit, if it isn't a clean cut decision to side with the "right side of history", like supporting the Last Jedi for example, Robert tends to keep quiet or wait to see where the ball will fall off.

That reminds me of his response to Joe Biden’s “if you don’t vote Democrat you ain’t black” comments: it was a very milquetoast “he could have framed it better” type of response and you could tell that he was too afraid to expound on it at greater length.
