Having worked in a video rental store in high school, I can confidently say the fat, retarded fucks like Bob that would come in and act like we were their personal best friends were the worst.
Even worse than the crackheads and joggers that would steal.
Ten years ago the blockbuster at my town closed down because streaming services and digital pay-per-view were becoming easier to do.

Blockbuster was just a retail store. How many people have fond memories of working in retail? Who finds that work interesting or fulfilling? There are people on Youtube with successful channels who talk about obsolete video formats and the like, but Chris is talking about a defunct retail store that sold obsolete video formats. He's talking about something that's both obsolete and irrelevant, and extremely common and mundane. It's the worst of both worlds.

An urbex video of an abandoned Blockbuster would be 1000x more interesting than anything these ugly speds blather about.

I don't get it, this entire interview, did Chris even talked with that Blockbuster manager or did he just sperged about himself? Because she is barely mentioned...
I only bothered pointing out anything that could, arguably, be considered a highlight. Chris being autistic and pretending he was in Clerks was less boring than some woman talking about working her way up to assistant to the regional manager.

How did he react to it?
When the game was first announced, the games press and people like Bob were hyped, believing the game to be a MAGA murder simulator. As more details came out, it was revealed that it wasn't, and they threw a big tantrum.

I don't know how involved Bob was. I think he tweeted about it during the MAGA murder hype train, but didn't join in the tantrum when it was revealed the villain was a generic doomsday cult.

I am not in this thread very long, but for the most avid followers of "The Pedothinker", does he even write about games anymore? Not just dunking on Gamers, but actually opinion/analysis/anything that requires functioning brain cells about games?

Last time I noticed was when he said that Jump Force was going to be a huge success because it was "anime Avengers but cross-company".
He was too ignorant to know it involves all Shonen Jump characters, and too out of touch to know the genre of 3rd person fighting game (Bandai Fighters as I've come to call them) just isn't very good.
Now I don't know how successful Jump Force was, but safe to say Bob's expectations were set way too high.

It was quickly forgotten in favor of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

He has a weird thing of considering every crossover "The Avengers" and his idea of the Avengers seems to be some weird showcase of IPs some mega-corp has without any internal rhyme or reason. Notably there was that time he started rambling about how he believes Sonic, Goku, and Harry Potter are going to be Justice League characters in the future despite how little sense that made.
Plus DC already has Tim Hunter from Books of Magic which Harry Potter was accused of knocking-off though Neil Gaiman doesn't give a shit.

Probably obvious that's not how it actually works but the "Consoomer Showcase" take on them is all kinds of strange.

I’m a big believer that it’s up to me to MAKE whatever I’m doing meaningful and/or fun. I applaud anyone that manages to do that with thankless or plain boring jobs. But that’s different from continuing to derive your primary identity from a poorly-paid job you had decades ago AND begging people to give you money to sperg about it. There’s something very wrong with this person.
