The latter. I think the implication here is that he's actively looking for her tweets on the daily, and when and if he doesn't find them in his feed, he just goes ahead and refollows her. Maybe he just writes the unfollowing off as a Twitter bug. Oblivious as to the real reason.

It's very stalkerish. Which is why I don't think Lindsay is particularly in the wrong here on this one instance. If she had hard blocked him, he would have chimped and tried to contact her, and I think that's what she was looking to avoid. Maybe she also didn't want to have to "punch left."

I also think she's not the only one he does this with. He's probably doing the same thing with Anita, Zoe, and other women.

Now she should just hard block his ass, if she hasn't already. Clearly we're beyond the point where her disdain for him can be kept secret.

I feel like women are way worse for that than men, just because they don't face consequences. The worst rejections I've had involve asking for a number/socials at the end of a semester, and the weird part is the next year the girl still acts like we're friends.

On the other hand, after an unpleasant breakup, I would put headphones whenever the girl tried to talk to me, or did a 180 and walked the long way into the building because she was waiting for me at the nearest door. Sweet girl, but shit at personal space and boundaries.
