Am I blind or has Kino Robert's latest deleted John Galt moment not been posted yet?

You're not one of those people, Robert.

I also find amazing how all his detractors are usually from the same hateful cut as him. Rarely in those tweets dunking on the human thumb do you see typical MAGApedes, alt-right types and the like. You think he'd take a hint about his own side telling him to shove off, but no.

If Chris is as panicked about finances as he claims, he should have responded to that “tree help wanted” sign at the Christmas tree farm. Because here’s how his begging is going: same as usual, fucking crickets. Not even his own wife, mother or siblings can be bothered to throw him a like, let alone his other family and friends. No one cares or wants your shit, Chris.

So is Chris in this movie? Did he have anything to do with its creation at all, or does he just think his name is synonymous with Blockbuster?

You’d fucking think he directed it from the way he’s been sperging out about it for several months. But no, he just assumes everyone shares his autistic fixation on extremely niche subjects. When advised otherwise, he doubles down, like a true lolcow.

Chris and Bob are truly cut from the same deluded cloth. In the same way Bob thought he had some poignant story to tell in Brick by Brick, Chris believes that the hourly associate job he held at Blockbuster years ago gives him some kind of special insider knowledge that people want to pay for. If I were his wife I would be so fucking embarrassed by his social media presence.

I like how much bigger and extravagant Chris' signature is compared to the other two nobodies.

I know its Film Robert's thread but I have to say since the pic is here but Damn Dan Olson looks like a Pedo in that group shot.
Well, you know, there's a reason for that.
"Exceptional, extraordinary, singular people"
"singular"
Just because Bob is so fat he's on the verge of collapsing into a singularity doesn't make him singular.

Film Robert is:
- Universally hated
- Unemployed
- Objectively stupid
- Constantly angry
- Morbidly obese
- Socially inept
- Runs a dead YouTube channel

Is he in any situation to say that he's better than anyone?

Slight powerlevel here, but when I was a teenager, I made some dolls for a local craft show. I sat there at my table, fresh-faced and eager to see my hard work rewarded with sales and public enthusiasm. But I didn't sell a single doll. I went home from the craft show crushed that my work wasn't recognized and that I was now broker than before. I had just assumed that I could make something that appealed to me at the time, set it out on a table, and that others would be dazzled enough by it to shell out money for it. But I was wrong. I hadn't done any research into what people at craft fairs actually wanted to buy; I didn't follow popular trends, so, I got hosed. This was a good experience for me as a teen, as I learned a valuable lesson about economics at a time when I wasn't yet responsible for my own income and upkeeping.

It's a hell of a bad lesson to learn when one is a breadwinner with a sick child, and a huge home improvement loan hanging over their head like the Sword of Damocles. It seems Chris Chipman was so sheltered by his parents when young that he wasn't even allowed to fail and now he is paying the price for it. He's going to have to learn in his 30s that you can't just "follow your heart and the money will follow." He's going to have to learn that you find or establish a market for your product before you can make a full time job out of its production.

If Chris wants to do a Youtube show about Blockbuster Video, that's fine. But it should be a fun hobby for him. A way for him to practice his presentation and build an audience. He shouldn't have expected it to become a huge part of his income (although the fact that he can wrangle 500 dollars a month out of patrons astounds me. That's a fair chunk of change where I live, and if all I had to do was make a shitty nostalgia video once a week to net that much cash per month, I'd be feeling pretty fortunate. Hell, that would cover most of the cost of monthly rent in some parts of the country.)

Something I forgot to directly point out from his almost 2 hour long, human centipeded Marvel Bigger Picture is in the description he laments he and others like him (colleagues some might call them) a labeled as ""comic book movie" critics". I did not mess that up. He put quotes around "comic book movie" for reasons that only his galaxy sized, exceptional brain can fathom.
Bob Chipman said:
I've been known to find it irritating when critics and other film writers of my generation (particularly those of us covering weekly mainstream releases for online publications) get tagged as "comic book movie" critics only - or thought of as focused even more narrowly on the Marvel films - simply because we happen to have done the bulk of our initial work during a period where this particular genre (and, for the last decade at least, one specific series and studio) has so dominated the conversation. BUT, there is no denying that I've reviewed a lot of Marvel films and provided a lot of Marvel coverage over my decade-plus in the business; so with Phase 3 having concluded I figured it was only proper to try and collect them into a single space for the viewing convenience (and curiosity factor) of longtime viewers, readers and fans.

Honestly, has there ever been a Godzilla movie that critics didn't hate? It doesn't matter if people love Godzilla, critics will find some way to complain about it. Did you know Roger Ebert thought that Godzilla 1985 was trying to to be a "so bad it's good" film?

I get that some of the earlier Godzilla films can be enjoyable because of how goofy they can get (remember the Godzilla kick?), but how can you claim a Godzilla movie is trying to be bad?
The original Godzilla (1954) is highly regarded amongst critics now.
Godzilla 1954.png

However you have to keep in mind these are "retrospective" reviews. Most critics back in the 50s seemed to hate the American version of the film (which itself was HEAVILY altered from the Japanese one). The original Japanese Godzilla is less "goofy men in suits fight each other for kids entertainment" and more "post-WWII metaphor for the devastation of nuclear weapons as expressed by a country still hurting from them". For example after Godzilla's attack on Tokyo you get depressing, lingering shots of city ruins and over-capacity hospitals trying desperately to save injured survivors with an atmosphere more akin to a war film than what you'd typically expect from a Godzilla film.

In a previous video Bob acknowledged these somber themes but also seemed pissed that critics viewed it that way instead of just a big dumb fun monster movie: https://youtu.be/RkIPtaoEqOk?t=152 (2:32)

Big difference between the original Godzilla:

If you'd like to know more, watch a film critic who's not afraid to do research...

Bob needs is small snack of four Big Macs, three large sodas, and 40 piece nuggets though. You don’t understand how hard it is to be Bob. If he didn’t eat all of this daily, he’d waste away to nothing.
I just want to immortalize the perfection of your comment and your avatar/quote:

That quote could have come from Bob's mouth, I wonder how long after he started living in a basement it took for him to start looking up how much elevators cost.

Breaking News, (And likely a few sofas,) Blobert just called the Council of Nicaea the worlds first "big stupid fan campaign"

I can almost hear the groan of his chair as he leans back smugly, euphoric at his own intelligence.
We all know that Blob didn't know how to spell Nicaea or what date the council was held. So he googled it to then tweet it and seem smart to his pack of retards.

The funny thing is, that's the sort of thing that I'd do when I was a smug teenager trying to impress others. Poor Bob really never aged mentally.

I would say he's marginally better than his brother in that he never spread the defective Chipman genes to the next generation.

It's like Bob is a pseudo intellectual faggot who is more interested in sounding smart than in actually refining his palate to a degree necessary to critique an actual work of art.
