I'm going to go out on a limb here. Bob, the absolute exceptional autist that he is, realizes that Mario is fat and Anita would not have sex with him, therefore it MUST be raep. I think everything he is doing is the crisis. The issue is he is too much of an idiot to try and fix it. Deep down he knows people will remember him as a joke. He knows he left no legacy behind with his life slowly reaching an end. And everyone that knows him outside his family either hates him or want nothing to do him. But his pride blinds him and foolishly makes him think that riding this reputation will show those 'dang dirty bullies' that in the end, he was unfazed by their actions and he will laugh when they die.

More depressing when you realise that even if he hit his head tomorrow and decided to completely 180 it's too late in his life now to fix most of his problems. Losing weight will leave him with excess skin and still diabetes, which would complicate finding a woman and convincing her to breed with him, meaning he becomes a mid-40s dad at best, and even if he took the time to go back to school and learn a proper trade his digital footprint would still make him completely unemployable for all but the most menial of jobs.
