I was completely unware of this lore.
The youtube link is dead so no idea what was really said and I guess it doesn't matter because it looks like it didn't actually help him out any.
I tried to see if The Escapist got a bump during that time but social blade only goes back to 2018.
I wonder though, could bob have actually done anything with it? It's not like he actually put effort into anything else, before or since. His Pixels review was just his raw emotion seeing his precious nostalgia trampled in front of him.

For a position to be extreme it needs to be held by a very small minority of people. Evangelical Protestantism can't be extreme because about 35% of Americans are evangelicals.
Except Bob does go after poor whites and claim he's just targeting Republicans.
I've never seen him acknowledge that Dems live in rural Alabama or wherever else he wants to nuke.
I really don't think Moviebob understands that the way to stop things like 1/6 happening is not by disenfranchising Republican states and sacking everyone who works there.

I think Bob is applying a different definition of "extreme" here, instead of meaning "fringe" as in very few people hold the idea, it's "extreme" as in "unthinkably evil". I mean sure, it's extreme to want a lot of people who hold opposing views to
Bob does a weird sort of conflation that is also a bait-and-switch argument. Funny how earlier on, Lass Library tried arguing that "Republicans are not poor" which is exceptionally laughable in its wrongness. "If you conflate "Poor People" and "Republicans", that's not my fault!" All while trying to convince everybody and their dog that he ONLY means "bigots" when realistically speaking, not even all Republicans are bigots. He has this unshakeable mentality that everyone to the right of Joe Biden is an irredeemable minority-hating obsolete.
Bob has this idea that disenfranchising People Who Vote Wrong is all the world needs to achieve the Soopeeryah Fyootchah, as it is these who are holding it back. This stance would of course be HUGELY problematic if a majority of PeeOhCees were NOT onboard with Blobbenfuhrer's vision for the Holy Soopeeryah Fyootcha(tm). Which, spoiler alert, I'm pretty sure they're not. Sacking everyone who works in a Red State paves the way for the Automation of Obsolete Jerbs (and the GOOD people will move to Blue Big Cities!), and thus the Red State Wasteland Ghouls, unable to achieve employment, can starve for having the wrong opinions (unless the government gives them Guaranteed Basic Income). It's not even starving people into the correct opinion; this isn't what Bob's about. He's about starving them FOR having the wrong opinion. That's so Stalinist it's scary. He thinks Automation will grant him Moon Wheat that doesn't need the Mayo Ghouls of Sisterfuck County Alabama to farm it.

God was it really that long? Also, I have been just going right through Yahtzee videos, and I caught a joke where he jokes that movie critics only have to watch a 2 hour film each week compared to his several hours of gameplay. And he assumes that Moviebob uses his free time to pick up chicks. And that might be the worst aged thing in any of his videos.

I always figured it was a change in what people wanted for action stars. I used to work in a theater for like a year. And got free movies. So I took that chance to expand my horizon on films. And I think MCU or franchise garbage isnt as overwhelming as people think it is. It has kind of overtaken action films.
