Haha, Johto was when I stopped watching, too. I picked it up again around the end of Hoenn for Harley, who is definitely one of the best anime-original characters they've ever come up with. And I stuck with it all the way through Sinnoh - I loved what they did with the DP series - and dropped it again shortly after BW started because I found it boring and lacking the chemistry between characters they had in DP.
Speaking of Harley, I'm thinking of having my mock Mary Sue lusting after him, too. I wonder if I'll be able to illustrate how ridiculous it is for fangirls to pair their OCs with him and assume that it would ever be a healthy relationship, even on the off-chance that Harley did have even the slightest interest in china.
I loved Sinnoh - the layout, and the aesthetics (though Mount Coronet was a bit annoying), but for whatever reason I never completed any of the Sinnoh games. I got partway through Victory Road in my Japanese copy of Pearl though.
Honestly, I love all the regions, and I'm not sure which one is my favorite. Kanto is a bit plain, but it has the excuse of being restricted by the Game Boy's capabilities when the foundation was laid down for it. Not to mention the bonus it gets from nostalgia points.
I haven't completed a single Pokemon game ever in my life so far.

Y'know, I wrote a troll fanfic that was full of spelling errors, grammatical errors, and even punctuation errors, but at least I knew how to put 'X said' after somebody speaks. Hell, most badfics do that, so why can't this?
