RPGnet Forums

There's a little popup on RPGnet stating that:

"Near, the creator of the SNES emulator Higan, has died. Our thoughts are with their family and loved ones."

This would be the alias of Byuu, the gimp whose 'suicide' has been causing Null so much grief. Interestingly, I don't see any kind of actual memorial thread on RPGnet -- is there a 'no memorial threads' rule, or are they perhaps a little suspicious as well?

One of the mod's tranny mutuals was probably crying on Twitter about it but the rest of the mods had no idea wtf "Near" is so they compromised with a little popup box.

They hate Gygax so much it's unreal. Back during the Forge fiasco they were slagging off everyone from that era and trying to get them canceled for their denigration of non-game "storygames" that Forgers liked. Now it's probably just because they're white and enjoyed having fun at the table.
The SJW Retards should realize that without Gygax, D&D would never come to be. They won't have their game and their shitty site would never come to be. The fact that they're turning D&D into their perfect little soviet engine is disgusting and a disgrace to not only the creator himself, but to all who actually enjoy playing it and not go into their snowflake spergouts.

Speaking of which, someone has flamed out over being a SJW.

Retarded take on pacifism that I'm sure that you guys would enjoy reading. (Note that it took a week for a comment on the first page to get reprimanded)

Reprimanded for describing a Karen.

They hate games and gaming. If anything, they might dislike him for creating the hobby they're trying to destroy.

I like how they claim to be oh so nonviolent and pacifistic, but whenever a lowlife drug-addicted nigger gets shot by the cops they start throwing bricks and burning buildings.
That whole entire site is nothing more but a Leftard Soapbox with nothing of any real value to digest, made even worse with speech control so tight that even the slightest of offense will get you permabanned.
And of course, there's even a no "ageism" rule too. I wonder what these people are into?

Role-playing games were invented by Yaashika Jones, a brave black woman of color, before her now forgotten work on Disco and Dancing was stolen by Midwest white supremacists who turned it into a tool of colonialist oppression.

Screenshot this comment, look it up four years from now. I told you so, future you. I told you.

The noble savage myth is alive and well.

Laying my bets now:

The "anti-capitalism and the RPG industry" thread is heading towards a frank discussion of intellectual property laws, wherein the site's hate-boner for capitalism is about to slam hard into its long-standing tradition of assuming that anyone who criticizes US IP law is a filthy pirate who steals hard-earned money from RPG authors.

It's bound to happen with the ancaps.

You can either dismantle the system and die without making your fortune because tards are doing it for free or get filthy rich and become a hypocrite.

Redistribute all property!

NO WAIT STOP! NOT OUR PROPERTY!

It's always funny to see these commies kvetch about Capitalism over and over again when they thrive on it for their autistic consooming. Without corporations, without money, without jobs, all of their hobbies that they don't use cannot exist.
It's time for them to put down their hammers and sickles and start acting like functioning human beings.

I would rather put my worldbuilding attempts here on the Farms than at RPGnet.

I'd at least know (a) I'm not going to get faggot mods up in my face for 'problematic' elements, (b) if I get trolled it might be funny, and (c) some of the folks in those threads are pretty sharp and can give good input.
