I love how they tried to make Ironwood seem like an iron-fisted dictator but accidentally made him into Venom Snake
 
Were Monty still alive, as the OP ponders, we'd have absolutely made a thread on him. The man was borderline high-functioning with some of his work habits and it's likely that his specific (read: autistic) way of doing things and changing the story would have led to a growing feud with Miles and Kerry.

People have gone back through his Twitter and found a few times where he lashed out harshly at critics of RWBY so it wouldn't be a shock.

Honestly, given how the brain trust's relationship was "Monty does the action and making things look pretty, while Miles and Kerry worked on the story and character beats and making sure everything was logically coherent and made sure Monty didn't hurt himself too much" and Shane alleging that Monty would tell people like his wife and friends his ideas instead of the coworkers he's relying on to make his show work (I'd say that any other show, Miles and Kerry could also warrant having a "Created By" credit) and going off on his own and adding things on a whim, I think the bottom would fall out eventually if Monty didn't die.

Reading his entry in the OP again, I am convinced that if Monty was still alive, he'd have produced some form of Julay. The fact that he was an autistic low-test bottom bitch who was dumb enough to marry a conslut and gold digger like Sheena was a natural disaster waiting to happen. In an alternate timeline, we'd make of fun him for Chad and Tyrone running a train on Sheena or some other drama regarding their marriage. I see another Adam Kovačević Kovic situation as a possibility as well given the kind of complete and utter fuckups that work at Rooster Teeth.

Had Sheena inevitably dumped him, who knows? Beggars usually can't be choosers given the kind of "man" Monty was.

Kinda didn't want to considering the sites issues making things take forever, but since you asked:
  • Monty was the primary reason they used the Poser instead of Maya. Poser is not a software designed for animating things, it's made for creating 3D models. Monty's heavy autism janked the shit out of it and made it animate. This single handedly slowed everything down and caused a lot of frustration because nobody else knew how it worked and had to be taught.
  • Monty once threw a gigantic tantrum because his Windows XP (might have been Windows 7, it's been so long I cant remember) absolutely died, and despite everyone's best efforts, they could only get him a new Windows 8/10 computer, which were infamously designed to not support downgrading. Monty didn't want a new version of windows, it would be different.
  • Monty told many stories about how he would savagely rip keyboards apart to remove keys he didn't need for animating in Poser. He only wanted to keep keys that were used for shortcuts.
  • Monty would routinely devote himself to animating so much so that coworkers mentioned that it wasn't uncommon to show up first thing in the morning to find him asleep under his desk.
There's a litany of other things, that's just what comes to mind.

The stuff done in Poser all have that weird floatiness/lack of impact, so to hear about him spending so much time on animation, yet the work still lacks the subtleties of animation is a little sad.
 
So if this stream is anything to go by, the first script Lindsay Jones (Ruby's VA) got for RWBY was the V1 script without any changes.

And Floof's takeaway from this revelation: V1's script that went to air was the first draft, or at least didn't go through enough changes to warrant being called an additional draft, along with many scenes in V1 being admitted in commentary tracks being ad libbed, and this is a prime example where you can say "planned from the beginning, my ass".
