At least they're more entertaining than the actual show. Some of them are. https://twitter.com/The_RubyRose/status/1331266615816515586?s=19

I thought that the whole point was that RWBY was meant to be a show that used its story as a vehicle to have people with unique powers get into cool fights i.e. a shonen anime. RWBY and MHA have very similar core ideas except one is executed much better. Do these retards know what they are a fan of?At least they're more entertaining than the actual show. You talking about the “is RWBY anime?” question that was around when the show first started? I’d say the big problem was that the show didn’t do nearly enough when it came to story and character development in the first two volumes. And the first half of volume three if you really want to drive them into the dirt.RWBY's first and greatest failure was that RT, and even Monty, refused to acknowledge that they were making a shounen anime. If they did not run from this fact and try to make a 'plot' like they're making now, we wouldn't be complaining.
I've said in this thread before that Monty was a garbage lore writer and storyteller. No ill will to the man, it's just a fact. He was a concepts guy and a damn good animator, but his 'deep' storytelling prowess left a lot to be desired. The problem is, because of the circumstances under which he passed, and the way the fandom lionizes Monty, there wasn't a way to just 'trim the fat', they had to 'hold to Monty's Vision(tm)'. Which means taking every bit of retarded, unnecessary filler crap (I.E. the Four Maidens) and running with it.You talking about the “is RWBY anime?” question that was around when the show first started? The funny thing is: Miles and Kerry were brought on to do the lore and the big story stuff and expand on Monty’s ideas...and connect all the fight scenes together in a coherent story. And he approached them for that endeavor instead of Shane and Sheena. Honestly, I think the death blow came when Monty died before V3 because that was the time when the ship really needed its captain.I've said in this thread before that Monty was a garbage lore writer and storyteller. Combine that with M and K (but ESPECIALLY K's) lackluster writing and this show was basically fucked after V1.

I don't get how RT couldn't get that they were making a shonen anime. let's see:RWBY's first and greatest failure was that RT, and even Monty, refused to acknowledge that they were making a shounen anime. I’d say Miles is worse if only because he doesn’t take criticism and he actually thinks his shit doesn’t stink. Kerry, I get the impression he’s at least trying to make a good product.I think that with the three of them, we would have a whole slew of storytelling problems separate from what we have now. The 'golden route' would have been RT bringing on people like Eddie and co. earlier than what they did WHILE Monty was alive, instead of trying to keep everything 'in house'. People with actual experience in writing on these types of projects. Alas, like you said, the captain goes down and the crew goes to the baseboards. We didn't get THE worst case scenario for the continued health of the show, but Kerry is almost as bad a storywriter as Monty was.

From what I’ve heard of RWBY, the show, or at least RWBY in its current state, is out of his skill level, and some doubt if he has the interest to raise his game.I despise Miles as a person but he's the better writer of the two by a fair margin, at least from what I know is his work and what is solely Kerry's. As individuals and as a unit, they both suck.
Supposedly he's leaving the writing team to go work on video games. I doubt he'll get any further than some indy team making a sawed-off JRPG, but you never know. From what I’ve heard of RWBY, the show, or at least RWBY in its current state, is out of his skill level, and some doubt if he has the interest to raise his game.
While pretending Pyrrha's with them.Itll be fully confirmed once they add the scene where Blake and Yang makeout in a hot tub while Jaune watches from a distance, masturbating furiously.
What would be more degenerate, imagining Pyrrha is with them, or dressing as Pyrrha himself? While pretending Pyrrha's with them.
I would argue it's a tossup. What would be more degenerate, imagining Pyrrha is with them, or dressing as Pyrrha himself?
well, he is technically wearing her armorWhat would be more degenerate, imagining Pyrrha is with them, or dressing as Pyrrha himself?
And then you got the part where people say Jaune should have just given the armor to Phyrra’s family.well, he is technically wearing her armor
I have always found that to be a bit of a nitpick. I think the idea of Jaune incorporating Phyrra's armor into his own a nice idea that worked thematically. I don't think we needed a scene where Jaune texts "can i melt ur daughter's armor pls?" to Pyrrha's mum or having him find Phyrra's Will. It wouldn't add anything and would just bloat the storyAnd then you got the part where people say Jaune should have just given the armor to Phyrra’s family.
I think the core issue is how the fuck did he even get the armor in the first place? Its in a giant tower in the middle of a grim infested city in a pile of her ashes. Jaune is worthless and therefore incapable of getting it himself (how the hell did he escape the drop pod in the first place anyway?) and I don't think anyone would think it important enough to take the risk.I have always found that to be a bit of a nitpick. EDIT; I'm not saying you couldn't use this to create a more interesting plot thread with Jaune, I'm just saying that the story is filled with enough filler and I don't think Miles and Kerry could pull it off, so I think it was wise of them to cut it off from the beginning and it doesn't have a negative effect on the story by it not being there.
Depends on if you ask Miles or Kerry, as TheFloofArtist found out. Yes they gave two different answers.I think the core issue is how the fuck did he even get the armor in the first place?
