He's so fucking angry at Rand his rage seems performative. It doesn't even feel real. The shit he says, such as "I'd be happy to die on my feet in the ring", just feels so fucking beyond the line of normal rage. It's because I know he's a fat, raging fucking piece of shit rapist that will die at 50 that I can assure myself it's not an act.

He's playing it up a bit but I think he was legitimately angry at rand, more than I've seen him get with anybody else.

The thing about being a wrestling heel is that when you do the bad or outrageous actions... They're fake. You aren't actually fucking the other guys wife, your insults in the ring are somewhat vetted, and most importantly the other people involved are FULLY AWARE that it's kayfabe to generate excitement with the fans.

Meanwhile Ralph's version of being a heel involves threatening real people, not a character they might play but the actual person. He insults their real wives. He threatens their real employment. He sure as shit doesn't discuss things beforehand and settle on an angle. These are real feuds with real people and the things he says and does have real consequences.

I genuinely think Ralph may actually be medically delusional and not fully understand the differences. He not only thinks that he's playing a character, but that people also realise that. It would explain a fair few of his actions not to mention reactions.
