This is the one that kills me, because I guarantee this game will feel much more dated on release than Saints Row 1 and 2 will feel today on the virtue of them probably stuffing in 3 year old memes and reddit humor into the game to appeal to the Zoomer crowd.

It's guaranteed to be dated by virtue of the delay, whatever "points" the game makes would've been tailored around early 2022 at best.

One thing I can give Saints Row reboot Tommy is he looks better than Definitive Edition Tommy, although that's not saying much.

No not really, they are obviously trying to avoid this crashing and burning even faster than it already is
Well in the sense that Saints Row 1 and 2 would never be written today then it's on a technical sense not entirely false

The only thing dated about them is the fact that rap doesn't glorify the hood like that anymore, I think. (correct me if I'm wrong, I just know I see white and faggot rappers putting their names on fast food meals and wearing diapers and shit all the time now)
Otherwise gang banging is still going on today I'm pretty sure.

Only thing I would say is dated about Saints Row 1+2 is its progression. You need "rep" to advance and unlock story missions. It forces you to do side activities.

which more or less sums up 2000s hip hop culture to a T. If SR2 were designed today, it'd feature some idiot with clown colored dreadlocks like 6ix9ine being about as intimidating as a cup of pudding and as smug as a globalist.
And other than that, I guess SR2's graphics were quintessentially Xbox 360 - as in, it still looks good today, but all the shaders are relatively primitive and it looks, uh, very Xbox 360-y, I'm not really sure how else to explain it. I looked up the Wikipedia article for ambient occlusion and realized I'd pretty much have to put in at least a few hours of studying to get at least the slightest idea on how shaders work and what exactly's different between now and 14 years ago. I'm just glad I'm enough of a boomer that I'm still impressed by a little guy running around in 3D space, and I can drive around an entire fully-rendered mini-city in video games, and tech's come far enough to where I can do that on a handheld while I'm on the john.

90s-2000s rap has more heart than current Soundcloud, autotune crap.
Saints Row 2 has this brown, grainy filter with it. It makes the city ugly IMO. Saints Row 1 has more natural color inclusion.

No, because the reaction to then was so negative they've pivoted completely to "WOWWEEE CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION LOLOLOL" to try and distract people from the terrible story, which is rumored to only be about 20 missions in length anyway.
Saints Row 3 is worse because there's a huge middle chunk where they force you to do activities that are way worse and more boring as if they're main missions. At least SR2 had fun side content.
