God, 98% of these are so ugly I would demand a double-refund. Especially since he can do so much better, his Celia and Winifred models are beautiful. And then you get… this… god are they ugly. Oh god.

Somebody also told me there is no use criticizing the model since the buyer was satisfied with it, but just because the person actually likes it doesn't mean it's good. When you get art of a character you own, your judgement is normally clouded by the excitement of getting something of a character you created. Naturally people are always like "this is amazing!" Because it's fanart and I know because I work with original characters too. (Small PL but who cares)

But, after a while- that excitement will dwell down. I'm sure soon enough they'll realize how bad the models look, if they haven't already. Though, I doubt they'll publicly say it. I'm assuming these people look up to Sam so I doubt they'd want to give him criticism and probably still try to find the pros in something so flawed. I almost feel bad for them but you know, if they're stupid enough to spend so much money on Sam's models, serves them right.

Just in case any of you guys care, the Yeshua ych thing is done. There was three slots open, but either the creator forgot to upload the third or only two people bought these. If it is the second one, it serves them right because this art style is terrible (for fucks sake it looks like Yeshua is a snake with small eyes and anyone with half a brain wouldn't wanna pay 50 for this)

I'm really, really curious about what publisher he has - guess we'll find out first when the book is launched.
It's print-on-demand and they offer full service of typesetting, draft checking, worldwide distribution, etc. - so I can't think of many.

There is a self-publishing service of Barnes & Noble that also offers optional typesetting and editorial stuff.

A lot would be likely if not the fact that they for example only offer paperback, etc.
He says he's self publishing with a publisher so I don't exactly know what to make out of it, maybe he publishes it simply with a publisher that lets him retain full rights to his work but also won't accept touchy stuff or somethin.
