Sam truly fucked this one up massively. He's not dumb, he knows how IP works, and he assumed that after burning every bridge and goodwill with top AS executives and stars that he could somehow snatch the IP without issue. He thought since AS has essentially buried it that it wouldn't be a problem to just go ahead and publicly advertise saying we're making a season 2 to our cable TV show. Not only that, but he then gets people involved making graphics, bumpers, promotional material etc all with this name while in the background getting blueballed by Warner and Cartoon Network because he is insufferable to deal with when he has a vendetta on you. Now he has to choose a new name, rework the graphics, and likely remove shit that directly relates to WP1 while getting distracted with more projects.

The amount of money wasted on this incompetency is fucking laughable. I was excited about the project, but always wondered how he was getting around this massive barrier, and it turns out he couldn't. 2026 release here we come.

The girl in the photo is Marky Thompson a fan of Sam's who he dated and 10ish years ago. There are some questions about Marky's age when they hooked up and Sam's detractors claim she was either 15 or 16 and he was 29 making him a pedophile but have never proven it. Channing Creager is a former employee and spurned lover of Sam Hyde who worked with him for several years and had a falling out with him over money. She has spent the last 8 or so years obsessively trying to ruin his life by claiming he's a pedophile, closeted homosexual, diaper lover and various other insane things. Channing came to this thread under the username "Samhydeisapedo" and spent months attempting to convince people here that Sam is into children but when pressed for actual evidence all she had was some emails showing he may or may have not paid her for a few things.

Can I be real for a second? After following Sam for so long it's really cool watching him get semi mainstream success. I honestly never thought I would see it after everything went down with world peace. Even with World Peace it was only really a niche show that was on for a few months. Flash forward 8 years and he's working with Shane Gillis, Ari Shaffir, Nick Mullen it's really cool to see.

Is this show normally this boring and unfunny or is it just a combination of a cast telling the same edgeless road comic anecdotes from 20 years ago and David Lucas only having 4 jokes in his entire personality and repertoire
