The reason why Nick and Charles stay with Sam is because they have to. They are irrelevant otherwise. Nick quit comedy after WP. He didn't appear on camera again until the idubbz documentary because Sam gave him the opportunity. Charles tried to stay relevant with Let's Plays and streaming and sketches that went nowhere. He was extremely unsuccessful and went back to doing construction work living with his brown wife and brown children.

I do think Nick is funny and can probably carry his own audience with Scuffed Realtor but he only got popular because Sam posted it on his channel. Compare the number of viewers from that to Charles podcast "The Palace" which he is trying to keep Sam away from (although he'll feature all the Fishtank players).

Everyone is making real, actual money working with Sam now. If they leave they go back to nothing. That's just the facts and they realize that now.

Didn't realize that was what some of those edits were, but I definitely noticed it wasn't simply Sam's plugs that got edited. I bet Harland's editor cut the plugs only because they wanted to cut some of his cracking and didn't want it to look suspicious.

The Charles livestreams were some of the most boring grift sessions I've ever seen. He would just ramble on endlessly about demons and evil and not show anything on the screen. He did watch a fucking Nick Crowley one time and that was more entertaining but only because he had some actual source material to work with.

When I watched videos about David Lucas being a fat nigger I noticed a lot of psychoanalysis about who was winning each microagression in the comments. I think it's a newish vein of podcast viewers that have been so attuned to meaningless conversation that they try to analyze the power dynamics of every sentence instead of just laughing at or with someone.

Harland took the piss out of Sam the whole time, remained composed, and made everyone in the room laugh while doing so; He performed a Mortal Kombat Babality on Sam Hyde and turned him into a table-flipping toddler and even then he didn't give Sam the reaction he wanted, not even putting hands on him worked. Sam simply got out-trolled, and there is no need to be upset. Harland did all of this 1v6 as well, youtube ""comedians"" can't compete with the old guard

Yea and this time when he did it to someone who wasn't 17 or half of his size it spectacularly backfired. And we found it funny. So we discussed it. More confused at what you're confused by. The guy had a 600 page LolCow thread before any of this ever happened.
