VTuber Sameko Saba 🐟 - Yoho!

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Imagine going back to normal streaming after that, and then finding out people not only immediately located your new shit but then clickbait article fuckers caused it to blow up even further before you ever streamed ONCE. Anyone would be fucking nervous and slightly shitting themselves over that.
Bruh don't give me that. She's already a millionaire and has obtained as unprecedented level of popularity in a kinda new genre of internet thing. Everything is an affectation now. Of course everything happened exactly the way it did.

It comes across as unapologetically parasocial and cunny-pilled. Didn't she stream video games at one point?

Good Memory.

Also I guess this thread answers why my youtube feed and sneed recs have been colonised and culturally appropriated by a random vtuber

I hate that this is the latest of the corpo VTubers deciding to leave their company and immediately starting right back up again as an indie, not even bothering to pretend that they are anyone different or trying any kind of really different direction. It just feels a bit cheap. If they'd all started from zero under a different name, completely different artstyle and even a little change in personality, I would be impressed and actually maybe look into them, but they all just change their virtual skinsuits for something that looks ever-so-slightly different and just chug along as if nothing happened three months later.
The problem is what you're describing is an exercise in futility, and any vtuber worth their salt knows it. No popular vtuber has ever been able to escape their old fans by rebranding, not even the ones who tried really hard to do so. A hole in their opsec gets discovered, they say the wrong thing or overshare, their rebrand is shittily organized to begin with, ect. One way or another, they all get found out eventually, if not immediately.

The design looks like shit. The rigging is fine but the way the model moves is too.. smooth? It’s like watching a flag waving around, it’s not human.

It’s not Senzawa, leaning way too much into the Gura aesthetics. Kind of disappointed. Maybe her switching into the new persona is to distance herself from her alcoholic habits during her Senzawa phase but dunno.

Opsec and vtubing are diametrically opposed. A career that requires people to constantly talk to themselves inevitably leads to leaks (like how Shondo discussed family deaths). It also requires you to get people’s attention by being unique or whatever, which attracts creeps and weirdos and schizos who want to know whether the hymen is broken.

Her model is disturbing and clearly was expensive. I don't see the appeal of her content. First stream was basically a merch run. Second stream was singing for 2 hours. Both times she was showing off that very explicit avatar. It's extremely clear the audience she is appealing to.

I fucking love that she advertised her merch, sorry, her "signed" merch, as soon as she debuted. It's also sold out, it's such an effective marketing strategy that I have to applaud it from an evil scientist point of view.

Imagine making overpriced garbage and saying to your fans to their face "This is useless to you, only a retard would use it in public but you'll buy it anyway because it has my loli mug in it". The only way to disrespect an audience more than this is to literally look at the camera and say "FUCK YOU, BUY MY MERCH".

I watched the first 15 minutes of the debut stream and I have no idea what the fuck this is supposed to be. You people are cringe. "Tee hee I'm literally shaking" followed up with a merch run. This is clearly some weird creepy simulated child stuff. She's raking in a bazillion dollars a second and isn't even trying to be slick about her "uoohhh child belly so erotic" audience.
She literally has a state change just to open her shirt and show her stomach.

NIGGA DON'T VAGUEPOST LITERALLY 2 POSTS DOWN FROM MY POST WHERE I SAID IT LOOKED THE SAME BUT YELLOW.

That shit's gayer than the fact youtube kept spamming me with "react" streams to the return stream yesterday with people soy-pogging in the thumbnail.
Sorry, I don't usually read your posts because they suck.

If you can't see the difference between a fully clothed model in a baggy sweater being reigned in by a multinational corporation and this pomf pomf kimochi lookin ass shelling out easily cumulative hundreds of dollars to artists to design and model and rig a toggle that does nothing but open the front of an ostensible child's dress and calling her fans the cunny crew you're either extremely naive, extremely jaded, or running defense. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you're just retarded.

Anyway get a load of this fag (I am not clicking this)

She quit Hololive and then instead of going back to Senzawa and sticking to it she restarted as the Temu version of Gawr Gura, what was even the point then? She's just going to have the same problems now as she did when she was with Hololive. Outside of not having upper management breathing down her neck and having to do karaoke streams.

I think it is just reasonable business move. Do everything properly from start. Including a real trademark. And I am not even kidding on that. It is just running it as real business with fully controlled brand.

And on looks, I wonder if the airport story and being confused as a child is true or just RP. If it is true, then model might be just making things younger looking as all wain online whores do, but still close otherwise...

And I do agree that rigging feels way too active and jiggly. Sadly too common with indies...

Honestly the biggest L take anyone's had in all of this, is that v-tuber comes out with a ton of merch depicting her fans as crabs. Crabs in the back ground. Grabs waving glow sticks, crabs on key chains and shit, and then when she suggests calling them the Kani Crew (Kani being Japanese for Crab), the mid wittiest of the obervers are like "This has to be a dog whistle for cunny." instead of the mountain of evidence to the contrary.
You are an ironic twitter weeb or just 12 years old? Which is it little bro?

Watching her debut, I have to say I'm really impressed by whatever face tracker she was using. It's amazing how she has better mouth movements as an indie than when she was with HoloLive.

A few days ago, I walked past a woman in a mall who looked like she was in her 30's and the top of her head would have barely reached the bottom of my chest. I think she was also walking with her daughter because I remember finding it funny how he basically had was couldn't have been more than 6 inches over someone likely half her age. So, assuming she takes care of her skin, I can totally see it happening. Maybe not like "child child", but a teenager which most people still consider a child.

I don't keep up with vtubers but stop pandering to pedophiles, the prepubescent child facade is the weirdest shit ever. You're a grown woman, that silly fake voice is cringe. If you're going to be a cartoon puppet at least market yourself as an adult.

This is femcel behavior, pandering to pedophiles online because IRL everyone thinks you're stinky. If she has a real family that's even worse, imagine being 11 and seeing mommy's loli avatar recordings after her retirement. Mental illness definitely plays a part, just like Pippa kept a barf drawer I'm sure Gura has a cocktail of behavioral problems. She just never mentions them.

Credit where credit is due, I applaud her refusal to let a large company dictate terms even if her career holds zero real value. I don't know if she was fired or left and I don't care, but going your own way when corporate says no is a good mentality to have. Like Machinima of old YouTube I'm sure all vtuber groups have self-censoring rules that make genuine interaction difficult.

I still hate the genre.
