So, this got asked a while back, but I'd thought I'd ask now again; has the SCP community really done anything with the Chaos Insurgency? Or are they still just a bunch of faceless grunts to be used for random villainy?

I watched the video expecting it to be at least halfway decent, but it wasn't.I'm honestly surprised that the girl who made this video isn't some flavor of genderspecial... at least none that I know of from the briefest of glances.
The funny thing is that the SCP itself was written by a creep too.No, people dislike it because it's cringe. (Yes, she acknowledges that, but she says that the cringe is what makes it work.) It doesn't make any sense. Why would a satellite identify as a trans woman and find solace through Homestuck of all things? It reads very much like someone just compiled every cringey tumblr post and made an SCP out of it. We don't go on SCP to read shit like that. If we wanted to read that shit, we'd go on tumblr.
I wonder how much restraint Raddagher exercised in avoiding the urge to start screeching about how that "EVIL FUCKING CHUD IS DYING OF CANCER AND THAT'S ACTUALLY A GOOD THING!!!".She also said that people only dislike it because a "nazi" mentioned it and got a bunch of people to brigade it. Sure, I hadn't actually heard of it before Metokur talked about it, but I went and actually read through the whole thing. It's god-awful.
Deets? The funny thing is that the SCP itself was written by a creep too.
Kate Bush, worked for WhatPumpkin (company affiliated with Homestuck) for a time before leaving(?). She was said to have written Vriska's route in the visual novel spinoff Pesterquest and made her implied to be trans.Deets?

They're eating themselves, clockwork seems to be my catchphrase as of late.View attachment 7549636
So she just has this avatar for fun?
Ah, nevermind. Not sure what I expected. She spent most of the time defending the trans satellite SCP and basically said that everyone who dislikes it just dislikes it because it has a trans person.
Sorry, her name's actually Kate Mitchell. Honest mistake on my part, been a long time since I've actively interacted with Homestuck.Kate Bush, worked for WhatPumpkin (company affiliated with Homestuck) for a time before leaving(?). I don't remember that gay trigger warning, so no it's not the same as it ever was. That's SCP-231. And it's still the same as it ever was: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-231
I would be fine with the trigger warning if they also added one for that retarded tranny satellite and the other really shitty ones, so it would save me the time and sanity of having to read it.It's kind of funny that other than the trigger warning, the one old school SCP they're totally fine with involves child rape. Hmm.
And lest we forget, his actual name is Kyle Mitchell, which we know because he tried to run for water commissioner or something similar up in Washington years ago and lost to a literal dead man. Flew very close to getting a thread at one point after the fuckery with Homestuck (among LOTS of other things) but people mostly stopped caring after being run off Twitter and moving to Mastodon.Sorry, her name's actually Kate Mitchell. I am so confused. Is this person a troon or not?And lest we forget, his actual name is Kyle Mitchell, which we know because he tried to run for water commissioner or something similar up in Washington years ago and lost to a literal dead man. Of course. The tranny satellite obsessed with Homestuck is a blatant self-insert. A quick search for his name (or for kate, rather) on the farms gets you a pretty good idea of who he is, including a kiwi who decided to take one for the team and buy his nudes. I refuse to look through and link it. Awful person in every way by everyone who's ever met him it seems.I am so confused. Is this person a troon or not?
I hate people who use this reasoning for just about anything. It's the bootstrap argument, a term I just pulled from my ass. The fault is in of itself the excuse for why the fault is not in fact actually a fault. It completely ignores the consequences of having the fault and ultimately implies all subsequent problems that come from it are non-issues. It's like if I strapped a bunch of 10 million lumen lights to my car and cause a 100 mile pile-up on the highway but my response is "BUT IT WORKS BECAUSE IT'S A BAD IDEA!" It's totally disconnected from the actual results as a way to ignore the mass murder I committed. But enough about last Tuesday.(Yes, she acknowledges that, but she says that the cringe is what makes it work.)
Ah yes, poorly hidden politics-driven drivel disguised as linguistic analaysis. As soon as this thing started calling people "Nazis" and "Fascists" it immediately made me discredit their entire argument.I'm honestly surprised that the girl who made this video isn't some flavor of genderspecial... at least none that I know of from the briefest of glances.
Even if this was a valid argument to make it falls flat anyway because when you point out that the article is cringe you get fucking banned. People don't generally get banned for disliking articles, so spare me this gay logician larp dear SCP trannies and at least admit you're protecting a certain faggot's feefees at the cost of the site's standard of quality.I hate people who use this reasoning for just about anything. I believe you're thinking of SCP 447, a minty green slime that is useful as a fuel additive, rust remover, toothpaste, and general miracle substance, so long as it is never ever ever combined with a dead body.I just remembered an old SCP that was basically The Stuff from, well, The Stuff. I don't remember its number, I just thought of it because I miss low-stakes shit that isn't an ontological nightmare.
Did anyone ever make an SCP that was basically Al Capp's Shmoos?I just remembered an old SCP that was basically The Stuff from, well, The Stuff. I don't remember its number, I just thought of it because I miss low-stakes shit that isn't an ontological nightmare.
