SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

I'm sure this is obvious to the internet greybeards around here, but I've just found out that the "Things Dr. Bright isn't allowed to do" list, posted in 2008, may be heavily inspired by the "Things Mr. Welch Is No Longer Allowed to Do in an RPG" blog, posted in 2005.
As the name suggests, it's about the player Mr. Welch and all the things that made the DM's eye twitch which he isn't allowed to do anymore.
The Welch list itself may in turn have been inspired by "Skippy's List", posted in 2001, about an extremely bored soldier and the real life stuff he got into.
Apparently Welch and Skippy were mutual fans of each other's lists, and didn't know they knew each other in real life until they were both invited to an event.

I've been reading the RCP Authority Wiki (thanks for the various people who linked it) and it tends to be better quality than the SCP foundation of late and the Authority is better thought out but I think that's because it was designed to be like that rather than the more organic way the SCP Foundation was formed but I was skimming through the lesser anomalous locations and found this -

The Dimensional Merge is real in the RCP-Verse? Holy shit, that's golden.

>Gaps look to be about the length of "Sonic the Hedgehog"
Oh my God I love it already. I wonder if the author browses this site.

Megiddo sounds like a Godzilla monster. I'm tired of these world enders I just want some gay ass doorknob that opens up portals to other worlds like in Monsters Inc or some shit.
The small ones are often best. My favorite from the classic era is 914, a huge clockwork device that refines or breaks down whatever you put in it with unpredictable results. Most of the entry is just experiment logs of weird and sometimes silly shit happening.

You see I do think there is space quite a lot of space for fucking HUGE END OF THE WORLD scenarios in the SCP foundation, but honestly most things can be and should smaller some could an should be relatively innocuous like The Infinite Cake but with a if this was abused it could fuck with the law of energy conservation but that would take a lot of effort to do so it just lives in some sites cafe as part of the lunch service, the Red Sea Object that if touches a mirror changes colour and can be used as a portal to another world, or The Old man incredibly malicious and downright evil but is relatively easy to manage and contain, or the Russian Chess Machine made from a pair of Twins, things that couldn't cause the end of the world but are utterly bizarre, alien or operate outside the realms of known science but wouldn't cause the end of the world etc.

Hell I'd love to hear more about the Department of Minor Artifacts - these are things that barely classify as anomalous like a phone who's battery never drains but will only work with that phone, a USB Plug that always goes in first time every time, silly putty that makes you giggle, a Desk Lamp that doesn't need plugging in but functions perfectly normally etc.

You WILL have your world ending giant hentai novel and you WILL like it!
No it doesn't exist but inevitably it will.

I read it forever ago and couldn't tell you the number, but I recall one that was just a regenerative pizza box. It contains an unlimited amount of pizza that's always the holders favorite style. The containment procedure is: leave it in the site break room.

SCP-458.
I also like this type of SCP the best. Or SCPs that have some sort of beneficial use and are almost revolutionary products but have some dangerous property that results in a need for containment, like https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-447.

I once wrote a short and simple SCP draft about an offensive alien word that "aggroes" all living beings and even inanimate objects which hear you say it, or see you write it, or read your lips or otherwise recognize it. I think it was pretty decent and funny but I couldn't be assed to go past the anal probing required to get it posted on the mainline wiki, not to mention simple articles aren't in vogue anymore. I'd post it here but I'd need to migrate it somewhere including the wiki formatting to avoid doxing myself.

As I saw someone put it, somewhere, entries about weird artifacts or weird anomalies that operate under specific rules don't get as many clicks on SCP as the novella-length entries about someone's super-amazing Foundation scientist OC (THIS IZ MY AWESOME TOTALLY ORIGINAL CHARACTER PLZ DONUT STEEL!!) turning his wife or whoever into a top-secret cosmic horror because the ends justify the means.

Wow, really? Do you have a particularly distinct writing style, or have you done the cheeky thing and included a bunch of references of things and places that are local to your area?

No, just shared a username. I'll try to move it to the RPC sandbox under a new account so I can let you guys read it.
Edit: decided to repost it on SCP so I don't have to wait for verification or risk shit breaking.

I'm glad that bureaucratic fuckery kept me from ever getting involved in that shitshow.

Lmao, good one!

It's sad. They've created the ultimate safe space for trannies because no one who would disagree will now bother going to the extreme lengths required to contribute anything. This includes neurotypical authors of quality works, among others. What a shit website.

I like the fact that it's never specified why it shouldn't come into contact with dead bodies. It leaves a lot to the imagination.
