SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
If you guys want, I can try to answer some questions about what happened leading up to all this.

How did the SJWs take over and what can the RPC Authority do to prevent that from happening to them?

Is there any chance of the SCP Foundation purging the SJW infestation? If not, why?

Would you have any interest in a public defection (posting about why you left the site) in order to contribute to an exodus of writers?

disregard
If you want the questions answered, I can. Did you want me to just ignore them all or try to give my opinion?

1) As cruel as it may sound, I sort of blame both the recent SJW political correctness movement and the sites policy to let anyone in. As the saying goes, too many cooks spoil the stew. I believe it started with 2721 and the pride flag. The SCP wikis pompous attitude and desire to be 'right' caused the moderators to lean over to the left. It's the same thing with Creepypasta- let in too many people and some will throw a wrench in the system. RPC is taking steps to combat it by having registration and permission required to join, but I don't think a site as huge as SCP would just ignore it.

2) Sadly, I don't think it will happen for a bit. Even if it does, the damage is done. The site is now know for flipping it's shit about a doorknob instead of stories, and that's how it's going to be for a while. I hope it would bounce back, but that doesn't seem to be on their agenda. And with a lot of the dissenters gone over to RPC, it looks like the SJW types have control over the site for the time being.

3) As much as I like to call people out, I honestly don't think it would do much good. They've already made their opinions on people like us clear, and you can't change radical opinions easily. I wasn't a respected member of the site to begin with, mostly due to the fact that I was new and nobody bothered to help out, so I don't think people would be inclined to listen.... It's sad but true.

Are there any "big" SCP writers who're still /ourguys/?

There are a couple who moved over to RPC. Von Pincier, who wrote a couple of more well known ones, moved, so at least we know some people stand with the idea that politics should be kept out of fiction writing. Ironically, after he pulled the hateful star from SCP they replaced it with a toned down and shittier version of it.

Most of the good stuff was in the three digit era anyway. Of the remaining old guard, most of them seem to be more into that autistic self-insert shit that everyone hates.

The "disregard" was because I accidentally double posted.

Frankly, I don't think that SJW infestations can be rooted out, as I've never seen it happen. (Save for one instance with a friend of mine, but that hardly counts.) I wanted your views, as I thought your perspective would be interesting.

:shit-eating: SJW author admits that shit was low effort with one single panel:

I remember when the SCP staff would enforce a "no half assed content" policy, what happened with that @KookiesNKreem ?
It seems like that went out the window once the SJW stuff hit the site. All of a sudden it didn't matter wether or not things were quality as long as they pushed agendas.

The RPC is filling up with articles. Most of them are kind of crappy, or could use some editing, but I see hope for the website. This article (RPC-031) in particular is pretty good

I hope they'll be willing to remove or relocate some of the crappier articles though. They should be aiming to make sure the initial 100 is their finest.

You can delete posts btw

I'm guessing they find it "problematic" because they want it to be genderfluid or female. They had already written some of it to appear to be female, but given the boom Jurassic Park had with the latest movie i am sure they will try to appear smart and "keep up with the times" making it change gender.

Or they could rewrite it to be mortal, since after all these years they "did research" and found it's weakness.

Or they will take the Love and Tolerance route and turn it into a genderspecial other worldly magical snowflake that will develop fee fees and get along with the scp staff because some poc genderspecial researcher cuck found a way to communicate with it. Expect a SCP tale about "SCP Rights".

Considering how popular 682 is with furry degenerates (the kind who wanna put tits and vaginas on fucking everything), I am VERY worried.
