So is there any spiritual successor to SCP that isn’t fucked? If not then my only hope is reading older versions (if they still retain those) and ignore edits after a certain year.

Wayward Society is good choice, the creatures are usually inspired by common North American folktales and they seem pretty lax too.

The other is the Chaos Insurgency, I haven't been to their site in a while, so it's hard to tell if they're active or dead.

A small update on the RPC side of things:

Skitty was banned for attempting to groom some of the underage members of the RPC Discord. They are apparently also involved with Site-12, which was known for grooming underage SCP users in the past. This info came about through moderator DMs, so I don't have access to the evidence side of things, however from what the mods have said the evidence seemed pretty damning.

Considering they are aware they are talked about in this thread and still think it's a dead thread a Community watch would be hilarious.

Iirc there was a pedo ring allegedly uncovered by Victor117 (some sped marine larper) a few months ago that they love to brag about. It's interesting and concerning how they keep uncovering these kind of unsavories... big thonk.
 
Because I was heavy into SCP back a few years ago, I got really depressed reading this thread. For old times sake I decided to visit the foundation Wiki and see what was up. The logo is currently rainbowflagged, despite it being late July. I opened a random page and it happened to be this one ([U weRL]http://www.scp-wiki.net/bong-rip-tendency[/URL]) which is a fucking JoJo rip-off fanfic. In the comments you see the author is a self-confessed tranny and they argue with another tranny about what it means to be a tranny. SCUM Manifesto is brought up, as is Valerie Solanas.

Fucking Christ. What happened to SCP? :(

its only for the page and some others this year because the exceptional staff members are scared of a round two of people kicking them for fun but the common suspects are in the discussions part of that page including are good friend Decibelles who hates men :story:

What do you think of RPC as a whole?

Also, the latest Homestuck-themed SCP to come out (SCP-4413) was bad. So much stuff was shoved into it without explanation. I hate that we have two bad Homestuck-themed SCPs. Shouldn't these belong in the jokes section?

My personal opinion on the RPC Authority is a bit biased considering I am a part of their community, With that said, they are growing in terms of being good writers and being an accepting community. They have been slowly but surely chipping away any remnants of SCP and developing a style that is their own. This is most reflective on their Hazards System and their Object Class system, which offers so much autistic freedom on classifying ones' RPC that it is becoming an Autistic Anomalous Candy Store. They're also been doing Events, which allow writers to flex their creative muscles a bit in controlled scenarios. I advise giving them another look considering much has changed since they have first started.

Who owns the SCP servers and how did they let the site turn to shit so quickly? I know there are "staff members", but is the site run like a nonprofit? Is there something like a CEO at the head of it? Could someone who submitted content there in the past ask to have it removed?

As with most SJW rot, it starts small and then they start appointing their little buddies into positions of power within whatever organization it is and start turning it into toxic shit. Eventually enough of the old guard leave that they take over and from the tipping point to something degenerating into complete shit can seemingly be really fast.
 
SCP Foundation changed hands a lot, and a lot of the SJWs got between the cracks and then started inviting their friends like Decibelles and other retards.
