Unless you actually tried to ban-evade, it's still because you posted here. They're likely just making up a "believable" reason for a perma.

They've banned you for posting here, and they're making up excuses to not mention this forum explicitly in the public thread. That's really all there is to it.

You're not even the first person Kaktus has attacked for "doxxing" for using his actual first name, which he has openly shared in several places. It's really baffling that people still take him seriously when he cries about this.

It's stopped. It's sitting at 200 now. It looks like it'll stay that way. It feels like this, all of it, was for nothing. They'll stay where they are, their path laid out perfectly. Even if I didn't vandalize the article, would I still be here? I have so many regrets, but I think my biggest is ever respecting these people in any capacity, in any way. This makes me sick.

I feel for you, but this feels like an overreaction. One article isn't the end of the world, creepy as it is, and you seem to be getting hysterical over it not instantly tanking due to your complaints when it was at +250 before, which is never healthy. Take a step away from the computer and breathe. It's not that big of a deal.

It’s definitely less of a high opinion and more of an offer of perspective. Frankly, the only person in this thread currently with an inflated self-image is yourself. Much like every other retard on this website, you could solve any issues you have with the discussion here by simply not participating. Granted, it would starve you of the attention you clearly desire, but that’s neither here nor there.

You should be proud of your accomplishment, er... sacrifice. 50 upvotes or however much is a small treasure to these people. Bright’s day would have been ruined over the drop in stock, were he around to show it.

If you hadn’t have vandalized the article, your complaints of it on Discord and other places would have done nothing. Not one downvote. You would have been censored anywhere it potentially had relevance to anyone who cares. No one would have noticed you. The only reason anyone did was the disciplinary response. S_D_Locke carries a hoard of vote mimics with him in any decision or comment left on the site. He is someone who wields his influence effectively and mostly wisely.

The site members reengaged the article to criticize it only because of Shaggy, who only noticed because of the splash you caused by being discipline-worthy. Believe what you want to about it, but thems are the sad facts.

Yeah, this'll cause a minor fuss if nothing else. I do find it funny seeing a bunch of people who had nothing to say about this tale for years suddenly have very vocal opinions about it now that a respected author/critic has started calling it out for being creepy.

Like when we had the terrible story about the Holocaust for years that many, myself included, said was brave and good when it was nothing of the sort. But because it wasn’t Bright it went down to deletion because it was only +30 when its reckoning came. -50 is incredible and I’m sure it’s going to be death by two hundred cuts from here

Also, it got ~55 upvotes at its apex. That's a rousing success for tales, especially back then, when it appeared on page 4/6 on the site's highest rated tales. Slowly declined until it was ~17 in 2017; 6 years after being posted.
