My opinion is as follow:
-Discourage posting in A&H by making an age requirement to the accounts to limit newfags after events like mass shootings. 2-3 months should be enough since these retards tend to not have a long attention span. No message limit since that could led these newfags to shit up the rest of the site to farm the barest requirement to post on A&H. I once did it on a forum I joined, so I can say it from personal experience that these retards would do the same

-Erase Stickers entirely from A&H. More often than not, the retards and schizos only wanted validation. And the reason why they move her from 4/8ch is because they can't have names there. They want validation, the wanted fame, so by erasing the only quantitative way to judge someone from A&H is the correct move

-A&H is a vile and vitriolic place, and to clean that up you are going to need someone very tough to lead the task. I like the Despot idea, but someone who take the mantle should be someone that is totally impartial, never take what the retards say personally, don't let emotions cloud their judgement, willing to enforce the rules to the letter, and someone that you trust Null. It should be someone who understands very well why A&H is just a shithole. And if I may add, someone that rarely posted something there, if ever

-If the goal you wanted is Intregation, Null, then I'm sorry to say that would be a bit impossible for these people. The reason why they mostly stay in A&H is because that's the only reason why they wanted to join this site. I proposed that whoever became a Janny should also check their post history. If someone posted nothing but in A&H, and have no intention to change that after being told so, that's an immediate ban from A&H

-Another thing you would need to do is a public humiliation. Like I said before, most of these people only wanted validation and fame. If they're humiliated publicly, that should discourage them to shit the site further since they would realize that lots of people in this site actually hates people like them

If you post 4 times in A&H you cannot post there again until you've posted elsewhere in the site. This way people who are serious about even some basic form of integration will try. People who don't care at all will naturally whittle away.

I understand that this would require a bit of backend work, but I just wanted to put it out there. The number 4 I chose is arbitrary and I don't know if there would be a better number to work with.

I don't think forcing the idiots onto the rest of the site would work out that well, in fact it might just inflame things further. I think it should be ok to only want to post in one section, there are plenty of people who exclusively follow one cow or hang out in chat. Trying to force what should happen naturally just seems like a bad idea.

Autism Thunderdome has no standard. There is no way for a person to help me moderate it because there are, effectively, no rules. I can't help set up these guidelines because I don't like talking about politics. I don't want to moderate political discussion. I don't want to deal with people sperging out about abortion and circumcision. I don't care, because I believe I am completely powerless to effectuate political change, so there is no reason to waste breath on it. Therefore, I cannot run a board about politics.

Question is really, why no rules? I think the fundamental problem with the Thunderdome is everyone already is polarized and has strong opinions on X subject and then gets assmad if someone disagrees with them on it. This is why I am fully in favor of banning based on thinskinnned complaints. If your beliefs can't hold up to scrutiny and you need a hugbox only to express them, they are trash. The immediate next problem is that the jannies involved also have some X and Y political beliefs where they will sympathize with Y over X shitting on their own personal political beliefs. It can only be a free speech absolutist that can really run the Thunderdome and rule on objective things that have nothing to do with the politics espoused. This is why I am very much in favor of banning people who just complain about being butthurt not everyone agreed with them on X topic, but I just don't think 99% of people can be trusted to be objective about this and that's where the Thunderdome continues to be a moderation trashfire.

The rest of the site knows how to mock people on their own merits, in A+H the discussion rarely goes beyond “lol nigger/kike/roastie” so even threads that have potential to be entertaining or useful end up full of the same low effort posts over and over and over. A thread wouldn’t make it out of PG if that was all you had to say about someone, it shouldn’t be acceptable in A+H either.

It’d bring the quality of posts more in line with the other boards and brainlets who have no interest in integrating would eventually get bored and fuck off.
