Selecting a Despot for the Autism Thunderdome

lol no
the ukraine news thread is full of vatniks baiting resident posters into angry flame wars, while the ukraine happenings thread is filled to the brim with people endlessly slapfighting along the lines of
>america is great homosexual satan
>russia is horde of asiatic subhumans
>you are nato agent
>you are kremlin shill
>you are butthurt polack
>you are vodka monkey

Which is why I reiterate my idea of threadbanning the most active users of topics for X period of time as a cool down. Sure, it requires a lot of work but if you find the correct jannies and then put a cat herder you trust (to an extent, we all know your temper Null), this could work.

Is there a difference?

I've noticed that a lot of suggestions just boil down to acts of censorship in some manner, be it for comedy or opinion control, which is exactly what you don't want. All it would do is disrupt conversation, be it civil, combative or otherwise. It would absolutely cause your political honeypot to spill over into the rest of the board because, surprise, I don't need to type special characters to write what I really mean in a non-A&H thread.
I think anybody too invested in the Ukraine thread should be barred from modship.
What does "too invested" mean? I look into the news thread every so often to either post the BBC war map or read about progress of the war with the slapfighting getting in my way, which I will contribute to depending on what side I agree on. Would that be "too invested" for you?

Most reports are created by slapfights probably like 80%+ are. So if you do not want mods to quit just ignore that and A&H should in theory get 80% less reports and mods will not kill themselves or quit. If you are a mad faggot who is reporting someone out of anger you get ignored and either leave the thread or spam pointless stickers at the people you hate in it.

it's almost like we're kidding or something.

but not really. ban anyone I don't like. Problem solved.

The problem with any such tactic is it would be used unfairly and users of a preferred political outlook would be able to post uninterrupted while their opponents would be benched indefinitely.

We should award a prize for every idiot freaking out in that thread. Winner gets sent to the worst terrorist training camp for the partisans they worship. Loser also gets sent to the worst terrorist training camp for the partisans they worship. Also, every participant also gets sent to the worst terrorist training camp for the partisans they worship.

Also why does Putin look like some weasel from a Disney cartoon?

It would be based on activity in the thread. This would result in slowing down and equalizing of content/conversation provided in the thread. If someone gets ahead, they get some rest while others talk.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed there's a few users in the Ukraine threads who joined after the war started, have war-themed profiles and talk about nothing except Ukraine? Like, where did they even hear about the fact Kiwi Farms has Ukraine threads from?
