I'm not really up on my weather history, has a tornado ever torn through a major city like Memphis? I think I've only ever heard about towns being decimated or cities getting clipped.
As well as St. Louis, Topeka, and Tuscaloosa.Specifically Memphis, I believe so. An F4 struck it back in the 1980s if I remember correctly. Also, Waco TX, Lubbock TX, Fargo ND, OKC (many times) all had F5/EF5 tornadoes, and many more major cities have had F4/EF4 tornadoes, including Edmonton, Alberta, in Canada.
Imagine the crater if/when one picks picks up Boogie.RIP Arkansas. Y'all getting annihilated.
This ended up being correct. After midnight, a tornado went right through the middle of the dark blue dot and wrecked a town called Selmer. The 20Z Nadocast went to party town, with a much larger 45% risk area and a small circle of 60% risk on the MS\TN border.

The Tuscaloosa nado in particular was one for the books. That bitch did Hurricane tier damage in fatalities and area effected.
