i could see this "guy" replacing sonic as chris's new lifelong hero

and then we'd have shezownichu

yeah...the idea of that... :ween:

What if this came out in the early 90's, or a tape with a recording of this show went back in time to little Chrissy's home, and Borb never found out about it...

Actually, SheZam reminds me of Sailor Moon Stars where three of the new outer scouts are guys who transform into girls.

I think this exact same plot has been used for about a billion different animes, really. I seem to recall my weeaboo friends obsessing over something called Kampfer (as in Mein Kampf, no really) about some kind of superpowered transsexual turning into a woman whenever he activated his powers just a couple years ago. I thought it was the dumbest thing in the world.
Damn, now this makes me wonder what in Japanese culture supports television or comics like this.

It was basicly an excuse to show a bunch of hot girls fawning over a guy, but this way, intsead of having to look at some dude for most of the series, its another hot girl. It was also terrible and I had completely forgotten about it until just now. So thanks guys.

And am I the only one who also thinks that Shezow's aesthetics and character designs look terrible? As a flash animator, when I see designs that look so horribly flat and vectored, I immediately think of poorly animated flash shows like dan vrs, or johnny test. I could almost guarantee that the animation in this would be worse than what I could do on my own. Though since Chris has the opinions of a small child and likes shows like family guy, I doubt he would care. Moving shapes and bright colors ftw, I guess.

No, you're not the only one. This is a decline of animation in general. Apparently, doing a "proper" cartoon is too expensive now, so most children's shows now go with cheap-ass CGI or Flash animations. The quality of animation has plummeted since the early 2000s.

If you want an eerily prescient and clever critique of the direction Western animation was headed in, watch WB's Looney Tunes special "Invasion of the Bunny Snatchers".

Myself and a few other CWCki members watched the first episode on synchtube.

EVERY. OTHER. SENTENCE. Is a pun on the word "she".

There was also an Ice-based villian that made constant freeze/ice/snow puns.

It was painful to watch and we all agreed that it was the single worst show we have ever seen.

Also it should be noted as a sexist twist She-zow loses his powers if his hair gets damaged.

found the opening theme. (and a worrying amount of porn for some reason) Its just as bad as I thought, and you'd be delighted to hear that it also offends not just your eyes, but your ears as well.

And of course no one does paper animation anymore, it costs a TON more compared to computer animation. Cells require a huge amount of material, you have less guides and tools at your disposal, and it doesnt give you as crisp a picture as computer stuff. With flash, I can make a surprisingly well animated short in about two weeks, the trick is to not be an idiot when creating material. And though a bunch of poorly animated junk gets through the cracks, I would rather have shows like the regular show and gravity falls just the way they are. If you want paper animation, go grab some European art house stuff.

Pilot too It looks... yeah.

SERIOUSLY AVOID THIS PUN-FILLED PILE OF SHIT LIKE THE PLAGUE. 20 Minutes of my life wasted watching in on Synchtube. My earlier post still doesn't describe the horrors we saw enough.

No. I don't particularly like the appearance of modern cartoons. But I'm biased. I watched cartoons from the late 80's and 90's and they looked much different.

Wow.. This show sounds like crap.. As well as inappropriate for young audiences.

.. No, make that any audience.

Just horribly, savagely beaten.
And you know what? I change my mind, Chris would love this show.

Just get rid of the equals sign and everything before that.

THANK YOU so miuch for that. Saney, you just raised my heart level to 100%. :heart-full:

How long will Chris fap to the tomgirl before he realizes he's beating the duck to a JERK?

Also, Chris will be beating his duck with a stick when he sees the new Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

OK, this show HAS to be mocking feminists like in 'Into The Wild Green Yonder' right?

Yeah, I changed my mind. This is sexist drivel (though the sister being a comic book geek was a nice touch).

Where do they come up with these things?
Actually, does Chris even care about tomgirling at this point?
