I think this exact same plot has been used for about a billion different animes, really. I seem to recall my weeaboo friends obsessing over something called Kampfer (as in Mein Kampf, no really) about some kind of superpowered transsexual turning into a woman whenever he activated his powers just a couple years ago. I thought it was the dumbest thing in the world.

As a flash animator, when I see designs that look so horribly flat and vectored, I immediately think of poorly animated flash shows like dan vrs, or johnny test. I could almost guarantee that the animation in this would be worse than what I could do on my own. Though since Chris has the opinions of a small child and likes shows like family guy, I doubt he would care. Moving shapes and bright colors ftw, I guess.
No. I don't particularly like the appearance of modern cartoons. But I'm biased. I watched cartoons from the late 80's and 90's and they looked much different.regularjohn said:And am I the only one who also thinks that Shezow's aesthetics and character designs look terrible?
Just horribly, savagely beaten.Dunsparce said:Myself and a few other CWCki members watched the first episode on synchtube.
EVERY. OTHER. SENTENCE. Is a pun on the word "she".
There was also an Ice-based villian that made constant freeze/ice/snow puns.
It was painful to watch and we all agreed that it was the single worst show we have ever seen.
Also it should be noted as a sexist twist She-zow loses his powers if his hair gets damaged.

And of course no one does paper animation anymore, it costs a TON more compared to computer animation. Cells require a huge amount of material, you have less guides and tools at your disposal, and it doesnt give you as crisp a picture as computer stuff. With flash, I can make a surprisingly well animated short in about two weeks, the trick is to not be an idiot when creating material. And though a bunch of poorly animated junk gets through the cracks, I would rather have shows like the regular show and gravity falls just the way they are. If you want paper animation, go grab some European art house stuff.
Pilot too It looks... yeah.
I think its safe to say that Chris dropped the Tom Girl thing.spaps said:Where do they come up with these things?
Actually, does Chris even care about tomgirling at this point?
