It's easier to clip on YouTube, that's how I do it. I just go back 10 seconds before his spergouts, then use OBS to record his, then KdenLive to shorten the clip and make it eligable to post on the farms.

SHiFT is shit at this jump

Rages out over that said jump. "Just fucking TRY!!! OR STOP PLAYING!!!"


Question I'm wondering. Does SHiFT know about this thread?

that guy in particular that you linked to dm'ed me an op's worth of deep lore about LTS and was ready to answer whatever questions i had for him,
when i said to him that he should just post what he wrote to me in the thread he said he couldn't because he could be singled out and fucked with based on the specifics of what he actually knew.
looking back im starting to think that might have been SHiFT himself. due to his propensity to lore dump random people and the fact the actual amount of people who would know that amount of lore about a nobody and would care enough to reach out to someone about it in private must be so small it could only really be him
personally LTS will never surpass SHiFT simply because one of them streams and the other doesn't, so really no matter what happens SHiFT will always be the center of attention,
at least a narrative was created about LTS being a sped which is something at least.

this thread does seem to attract a lot of new users who attempt to rally us in one direction or drop a baseless tid bit or lore to see what happens, i see us as the no mans land between the two sides.

As far as I know it's just frame perfect I thought? Which could be luck based at 60 FPS anyways I guess. You have to jump the frame after landing from a jump (that's why you see him do one before the double jump) to get enough height to reach the ledge grab basically. Pretty fun for being so early in the run! He's gotten chains of fucking up that trick before and losing all hope and yelling.

He said it is RNG due to something called "delta time". Which relates somehow to the game's engine? Given how many frame perfect tricks he performs (and this is one he doesn't seem to criticize himself for missing) I am more inclined to believe him.

I don't know if "delta time" is some kind of speedrun lingo but it doesn't look like a documented part of the game's engine. Not saying there isn't some chance-based bullshit to the trick, but his exact reasoning could still be a cope?

He used to go on rants about ideac on stream about how him and the trolls made a thread on here a few months ago and how the farms thought shift playing the game was normal and how the farms thought ideac was the crazy person even though they're both crazy, he doesn't go on those rants any more these days, but he definitely copes about this threads existence.

dude im genuinely curious to know why you decided to make an account here just to post this.
SHiFT has attracted at least 5 new accounts who to this thread. who make a few posts before leaving.
