In light of his accusations of thievery on the part of the firefighters, my decision has changed. He does not deserve charity.

Surprised even you, didn't he?

So, uh, Chris and Barb accused the firefighters of stealing their assuredly shitty shit.

You know, those guys who ran into a burning house that was a labyrinthine deathtrap because of the utter stupidity of its occupants. Those guys who risked horrible injury and death to help complete strangers. Guys who, even if they knew how absolutely repugnant those strangers were, would try to save their lives and property anyway because they're absolutely dedicated to their job.

Chris has now deemed the firefighters to be trolls.

*long exhale*

Those firefighters are better people than me.

Because I'm glad his shit burned.

I doubt Chris independently came to the conclusion that the firefighters stole a charred Dali print from the burning pile of rubble formerly known as 14 Branchland Court. In fact, I'd wager that the idea is entirely Barb's, and Chris, being a retarded child, lacks the intelligence or critical thinking abilities to question mommy's judgment.

I honestly wasn't expecting them to accuse the firefighters of stealing. Way to prove you deserve what life hands you there, slick.

I was more expecting him to complain that the donations were not exactly what he wanted and/or not enough. I still also half expect them to start squatting there eventually for at least a little while. I'm not sure why, though. It just seems a very Barb and Chris thing to do.

Barb is no doubt in quite a state due to her house being BURNED down. I can understand being flustered and thinking someone stole it. Notice he did not say that Barb accused the firefighters of stealing. He said she theorized "someone" stole it, not that a fireman stole it. That could have been Chris' own conclusion that it was a fireman. I am sure she would have been more precise if she had thought it was a fireman, and his message would surely have reflected that. As he explained, the house was not boarded for a while, so others had the chance. Old women get very protective and fierce about their purses, so since that is one of the items she believes may have been stolen, then she may have thought the Dali replica could have been another. It is pretty natural for old women to lash out when purses are missing.

In addition, neither one of them said any of these things publicly...certainly not Barb. It was a private email posted without consent, not a facebook proclamation. I would be hesitant to rush to conclusions based on what is likely Chris' own inflammatory extrapolation.

Of course the idea is rubbish and offensive, but it is important to consider the circumstances and that Barb likely did not accuse the firemen. Nor did they publicly accuse the firemen.

He didn't independently conclude that Megan was a troll either, but that doesn't really make it any less abhorrent.

This is why I'm not donating - because ultimately, when it comes down to it, Chris is an ungrateful little shit. If you try to help him, he'll find some way to throw it back in your face. While I do feel sorry for him over what's happened, I really think he needs to be forced to do things the hard way.

That being said, if you did force him to start from scratch, he'd probably just sit there in his :briefs: and lash out at the trolls for stopping everyone else from helping him while doing nothing for himself. So I suppose donations are better than letting him starve, but you won't receive any thanks. Probably the opposite, he'll claim you're trolling him by preventing him from blowing it all on vidya.

It may be of some comfort to Barb to learn that in the antiques trade, reproduction paintings ain't worth shit.

Chris has always made a habit of blaming the adverse events of his life on anyone but himself. When that's coupled with intense paranoia and a huge persecution complex, is anyone actually surprised that he'd turn his vitriol towards the very people who were attempting to save his horrible rat's nest of a house?
Seriously, the fire was the fault of the coffee maker, any missing items must have been the firemen, and I'd be willing to bet that he and his mother will find some way of attaching negative connotations to all the help provided by the 'trolls' of this forum.
This is why I haven't donated.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate why the people who have donated have done so, and I applaud your ability to act truly selflessly - regardless of the character of the people you're helping... But I just cannnot bring myself to help someone who will not only not help themselves, but will complain about the help they received.

Yeah, but it's exactly the type of idea that Chris could just come up with on his own anyway. Chris embracing shitty foreign ideas or making them up himself, the distinction doesn't really mean much to me.

Yeah...but Barb also accused some Chinese food restaurant of poisoning her, when it was really her colitis. There's a pattern of accusatory behavior by :snorlax: .

I'm really not surprised that even the folks who were previously defending their donations are having regrets after Chris's stunning return to form. Ungrateful people are shitty and make you feel shitty. Hell, even people who were saying at the time "I know Chris is going to do something to make us despise him all over again and that's a risk I'm prepared to take" are feeling duped now.

Don't, guys. Really.

Charity isn't something you do to get something in return. You don't give something away expecting to get it back. You do it because you have something Chris (and apparently Barb) doesn't have: empathy. Feel shitty, but don't feel like suckers. You did the right thing.

The first paragraph of the ED article on Chris says, "As well as "suffering" from autism, Chris also suffers from a terminal case of unwarranted self-importance, the only cure for which would be to remove his head from his consequently gaping ass." That's incredibly harsh.

Is it really? The language is colorful but Chris' sense of self-importance and entitlement are enormous, and he's never done anything with his life. His head is definitely way up his own ass.

You exceeded the Hurtful Truth Level, but your post has been read fully, and your thoughts have been inputed and accepted for better improvement. Thank you for your time and efforts.

Barb really is an awful person. No wonder Chris is such a dickhead at times.

New update ^
Does this make a difference to anyone? Somewhat of a dick move on their part, thinking like that. Ignoring the fact they have people who live near them.

*slow clap*

They're blaming it on a coffee maker, as well as men who literally put their lives on the line to save their burning shithole hoard and ensure the safety of ungrateful, entitled, mentally handi-capped fat fuck rednecks.

I can't wait til he posts about how the care package given by this forum wasn't good enough or that it somehow contributed to this whole mess that they're in.

Again I'm not calling for any sort of retribution, it just would've been nice to see how this would play out without giving them any kind of special treatment. Oh well it's your money. That could've gone to a reputable charity for people who would likely appreciate it.

I'm gonna play Devil's advocate here, and try to justify Barb.

Barb is a hoarder, and she just had her comfortable nest razed and shuffled through. She's hurting, and like any old, sick, and wounded animal, she's just biting and snarling at anyone that comes close to her.

Well put. Yes, I agree Barb may be in some shock over losing her precious hoard. However, people are mad that Chris and she hasn't shown any sign of gratitude for the men and women who put out their heap. THIS was the first thing they said about the firefighters, and that's gonna steam some beans.
Let's just hope once she's back to her normal :snorlax: self, she won't do something stupid like sue the city
Chris on the other hand, will possibly blame these firefighters for years for stealing shit that wasn't even his.

So you're saying that Chris should have her put down Old Yeller style? :alog:

Oh pfft. It's not like we're dealing with some sad old lady who once in a million demonstrates a depressed expression of rage. She does this all the time, even in minor situations. That's why no one gives a shit about Barb here.
