Should NEETs be allowed to exist?

Nobody should NOT be allowed to exist, otherwise you're no better than the other horrible cunts who have murdered millions of humans because [insert label].

I think NEET's should be encouraged to contribute towards society in some way. Be it cleaning and caring for the community parks and streets and/or creating art, music and poetry - no matter how good or bad it is.

And if you're going to have a pop at 'paying for the lowest people' two things crop up:

1) Why should the rich, who are higher wage than you, pay for or contribute to hospital care, Health and safety at work, sick pay, holiday leave as well as a whole host of shit that the upper-classes pay for? After all, you hate people sucking in money for free, so why should be paid more than bed and board?

2) The rich, if 'incentivised' properly, could pay for everyone in America to be a NEET for the next 10 generations, and if offered such a position, you would quit your job at Mcdonalds to sit around for free, in the blink of an eye.

I never called for a day of the rope scenario for NEETs. Some changes to legislation and them becoming motivated could change this problem faster and more effectively than killing all of them ever could.

To answer your first point, anyone who works a job at fucking all supports the rich. You could be the guy who built their mansion or the guy that lines their pockets. They know that they need to spend a little money on us to keep us from gutting them. What does your average NEET offer you? A extra random for your Destiny raid?

And to your second point, this would never happen and no I would not like to quit my comfy job because I like money. Being a NEET fucking sucks and everyone in America learned firsthand what it's like during the lockdown. I do not want to watch anime or play video games for the rest of my life alone, it takes the fun away from those and it is literally the perfect recipe for personal dissatisfaction and suicide.

NEETs are a byproduct of obvious faults and errors in our system and society. People do not have incentives to work and struggle because they can literally just play video games and get paid to do it. In any functional society it probably shouldn't work this way and it will definitely lead to some big issues down the road.

But maybe we've reached the point where this are too many dudes and not enough fulfilling work or cash money to go around.

Fair enough.

The average NEET doesn't do anything, because just like the rich keeping them happy, we keep the NEETs happy. Now, ask that question again after we pull all of their support and there are millions of armed, starving, nothing-to-lose tramps. Game over society. I know that's extreme scenario, but Rich>Wagie, Wagie>NEET. It's the natural order of things.

What if i told you that you could keep the wage you earn now, without working? If all of your friends and family do the same, you could spend your time with them, seeing the world or doing whatever makes you happy. Would you be up for that?

Not to play devils advocate., but... Telling people how they should live, is fascism. I don't like bums sitting around soaking up money as much as the next worker, but if the options are; bums in society or fascism, i know which i'm picking.

But maybe we've reached the point where this are too many dudes and not enough fulfilling work or cash money to go around.
You could be on to something here. NEETs playing video games and getting high, are IMO trying to escape reality. Maybe due to rejection and shunning from society, trauma, sexual abuse or a whole host of other issues. Maybe a therapy session/LAN party would help them out?

To go OT a bit; work for work's sake has been a thing for a long, long time now. I can go to any office in the west and sack 75% of the office staff without an impact to that company. In reality there would be an impact because inefficient beauricracy is what keeps the capitalist wheels turning at the moment.

In my ideal world, we would only work 1 year in 5 or 10, or 2 months in 12. Everyone earns the same, but you're not tied to a desk for the sake of being tied to a desk. Work like mental for a short time, then go see the world, create, learn and teach.

(mostly) manchildren who just sit on their asses all day buying legos and computer parts rubs my ween the wrong way. I guess they aren't completely useless because they buy shit, but everyone buys shit
What about the women who drop out of school pregnant, and then spend the rest of their reproductive look be a pushing out future NEETs just to get a bigger house.

Seriously tho, who else is going to fuck your mum for biscuits?

Make them do voluntary work, charity shops, churches, whatnot.

Even low wage workers contribute to their nation and to their fellow citizens. People should contribute what they are able to and be supported when needed. It’s also worth remembering there wouldn’t be rich people without the workers under them or the society they pay back into.

NEETs on the other hand don’t contribute anything, they only take from the societies they live in despite being fully able to contribute back. They are leeches off the hard work of everyone else and frankly? That deserves zero support.

I’m not even talking about people down on their luck, but the chronic NEETs who just refuse to even work menial labour, or even volunteer!

But now the question comes. How do we fix the NEET epidemic? Is this just a natural by-product of late stage capitalism and the state of the world? Or will humanity naturally fuck off and get lazy if gibs exist?
How do you cure the world of Viruses? You don't, you stay hygienic and avoid unhygienic people. It is the same with social causes, a minority govern themselves by reason and a majority by experience and another minority on the bottom by instinct and immediate necessity. When social conditions weaken the argument against free riders then the society either are Big-Brained and draconian, are Midwits and ignorant of the downsides, or Feral and predatory. You can see how this plays out. Either the midwits are isolated and subjected to the experiences of their ideas or the Galaxy-Brained are overwhelmed trying to hold up the sky. At least in a democracy, hence the counterargument to democracies.

They should be allowed to exist but forced into indentured servitude to their working superiors. They want to have their microwaveable tendies, gallons of Mountain Dew and children’s toys, they can earn it by serving those who pay taxes and graciously allow them the privilege of existing.
Yes, welfare should require physically showing up monthly to a queue where the reasonable (Wheely Wheely Legs No Feelies, part-time workers needing a top-up, families with only one income earner, etc) can quickly queue and the none-of-the-aboves are forced to pled their cases monthly and might get NEET bux once or twice but once denied are permanently detached from the tit.

No, this was one of the few things we did right back in the soviet days with various forms of anti-parasite laws and punishments.

If you won’t work and contribute to your county while also being physically able to do so you shouldn’t be supported by it.
Yes, the USSR had many faults but in its poverty there was a form of realism. The Family Code of 1936 put restrictions on abortion and imposed fines and jail time for any that received or performed the service. The code also enacted a bevy of laws aimed to encourage pregnancy and child birth. Insurance stipends, pregnancy leave, job security, light duty, child care services and payments for large families. In another drastic move, the code made it more difficult to obtain a divorce. Under the code, both parties would need to be present for a divorce and pay a fine. There could be harsh penalties for those who failed to pay alimony and child-support payments.

American plenty on the other hand ate itself sick on liberty and a purely no-fault divorce law became popular.

I suppose most of your tax dollars go to the Army, and the rest go to welfare queens and wetbacks.
American really should start seeing their economy and political leaders as occupational forces, there is no immorality in fighting against the system. Lose your guns in a lake, cheat on your taxes, and don't worry about working 80 hours a week to pay for black transwoman veterans.

The culture and nation died out and only the economy exists for immigrants to join up to. While I would never suggest stagnating your life, at least these people are chemically or socially castrating themselves and so cutting off their NEET culture at a single generation. Millionaire's Kids and "somebody's got to take care of all my kids" black single moms are the source of social parasitism and cultural decay.

What about the women who drop out of school pregnant, and then spend the rest of their reproductive look be a pushing out future NEETs just to get a bigger house.
A one-time payout in return for sterilization, we can call it a form of transgenderism if that makes it socially acceptable but they have to be sterile to get the NEET Bux.

An ideal America would have organized labor and a welfare system that acts as a reverse income tax. People should be able to earn their way to a house, spouse, 2.5 kids, and afford some hobbies. A path, to earn and not be handed-out, for these things. That makes the pyramid work, and people see themselves as a nation first and an economy second. Its about managing the failure rate, 5% of society fails its those people, but if 95% of society fails then its the system. Economic successes in America shouldn't be at the social cost of 2/3rds of the pyramid. Its too vicious to continue.

The way our modern economy works such that needs can really get ahead if they learn Ancient Babylonian price shifting techniques, arts lost to the ancients but is now being revivied by Jewish bankers.

Jeff Bezos could afford to do that. Jeff Bezos should do that.

NEET lifestyle is unsustainable and they're just fucking themselves over; it would be no one's fault but theirs.

Honestly, if someone is able to live as a NEET there's really no reason not to anymore. Most people under the age of 30 will never be able to own a house, they might be able to raise a kid or two with government or familial assistance, but for the most part the incentives are gone. I do still value the idea of having a work ethic, but at a certain point you just can't expect someone to be a sucker. When the difference between being a NEET and getting a job is "maybe you'll be able to buy some nicer products or get a shitty apartment" you really gotta be a sucker to get a job.

NEET detected

NEETs are a plague but so long as they're getting their money from someone intentionally giving it to them and not from me via taxes then I don't care. The NEET to troon to homeless pipeline means they'll eventually die on the streets anyway so it's not really my problem.

I think the parents should be responsible. If you shit out a kid you can't expect it to work. Children should be able to tap in 1k of child support per month in pepertuidad or whatever

Every few centuries when there is a long peace in the wake of a bloody war, society ends up with an excess of young males. The excess tends toward the bottom, with numbers of low value males ballooning while high value males remain the same. This disproportionate change has destabilizing effects on society which cause unrest, which is primarily participated in by young men. They kill each other, and the problem solves itself. God has created a perfect clock.

They should be allowed to exist but only if I get to fuck them in the mouth whenever I want.

Social safety nets should exist. That being said, people who are capable of at least partially supporting themselves, and decline to do so, should be forced to pick up trash for 10 minutes to offset the cost of the bullet.

Does this include the ultra rich leisure class that just collects rent or the like?

Even if you're jobless, that's better than being a NEET. It stands for not educated employed or trained. If you have no practical skills or knowledge at all, you're absolutely fucking worthless and have no business even taking care of yourself, much less being endowed with responsibility of any kind. That's the thing that bothers me the most about them. If you're in between jobs, that's one thing,. but if you're so fucking dumb that you can't even change the oil in your car, you should be sent to German Summer Camp.

You can be useless to society, as long as you're useful to yourself and not a total burden to the people who care about you. Using your parents for an extended childhood is wrong.

depends how they are being funded/supported. If they are on welfare then I can sympathize with feeling rubbed the wrong way. If they support themselves or live off their parents, I guess they arent a drain and would be a net benefit to the economy since as you said they still buy stuff (assuming not with welfare money lol).

You have to look at the surrounding context to why someone exists as a NEET. Is it mostly because of things beyond their control or their own doing? Who's paying for them to NEET it up? What do they do in their free time - hobbies, activities, volunteering, etcetera? Putting all NEETs into one group is oversimplifying the concept.

As for the manchildren who play with legos and computer parts, it depends on whether they have physical/mental conditions preventing them from holding a job or if they're just lazy.
