But now the question comes. How do we fix the NEET epidemic? Is this just a natural by-product of late stage capitalism and the state of the world? Or will humanity naturally fuck off and get lazy if gibs exist?
How do you cure the world of Viruses? You don't, you stay hygienic and avoid unhygienic people. It is the same with social causes, a minority govern themselves by reason and a majority by experience and another minority on the bottom by instinct and immediate necessity. When social conditions weaken the argument against free riders then the society either are Big-Brained and draconian, are Midwits and ignorant of the downsides, or Feral and predatory. You can see how this plays out. Either the midwits are isolated and subjected to the experiences of their ideas or the Galaxy-Brained are overwhelmed trying to hold up the sky. At least in a democracy, hence the counterargument to democracies.
They should be allowed to exist but forced into indentured servitude to their working superiors. They want to have their microwaveable tendies, gallons of Mountain Dew and children’s toys, they can earn it by serving those who pay taxes and graciously allow them the privilege of existing.
Yes, welfare should require physically showing up monthly to a queue where the reasonable (Wheely Wheely Legs No Feelies, part-time workers needing a top-up, families with only one income earner, etc) can quickly queue and the none-of-the-aboves are forced to pled their cases monthly and might get NEET bux once or twice but once denied are permanently detached from the tit.
No, this was one of the few things we did right back in the soviet days with various forms of anti-parasite laws and punishments.
If you won’t work and contribute to your county while also being physically able to do so you shouldn’t be supported by it.
Yes, the USSR had many faults but in its poverty there was a form of realism. The Family Code of 1936 put restrictions on abortion and imposed fines and jail time for any that received or performed the service. The code also enacted a bevy of laws aimed to encourage pregnancy and child birth. Insurance stipends, pregnancy leave, job security, light duty, child care services and payments for large families. In another drastic move, the code made it more difficult to obtain a divorce. Under the code, both parties would need to be present for a divorce and pay a fine. There could be harsh penalties for those who failed to pay alimony and child-support payments.
American plenty on the other hand ate itself sick on liberty and a purely no-fault divorce law became popular.
I suppose most of your tax dollars go to the Army, and the rest go to welfare queens and wetbacks.
American really should start seeing their economy and political leaders as occupational forces, there is no immorality in fighting against the system. Lose your guns in a lake, cheat on your taxes, and don't worry about working 80 hours a week to pay for black transwoman veterans.
NEETs are a byproduct of obvious faults and errors in our system and society. People do not have incentives to work and struggle because they can literally just play video games and get paid to do it. In any functional society it probably shouldn't work this way and it will definitely lead to some big issues down the road.
The culture and nation died out and only the economy exists for immigrants to join up to. While I would never suggest stagnating your life, at least these people are chemically or socially castrating themselves and so cutting off their NEET culture at a single generation. Millionaire's Kids and "somebody's got to take care of all my kids" black single moms are the source of social parasitism and cultural decay.
What about the women who drop out of school pregnant, and then spend the rest of their reproductive look be a pushing out future NEETs just to get a bigger house.
A one-time payout in return for sterilization, we can call it a form of transgenderism if that makes it socially acceptable but they have to be sterile to get the NEET Bux.
Even low wage workers contribute to their nation and to their fellow citizens. People should contribute what they are able to and be supported when needed. It’s also worth remembering there wouldn’t be rich people without the workers under them or the society they pay back into.
An ideal America would have organized labor and a welfare system that acts as a reverse income tax. People should be able to earn their way to a house, spouse, 2.5 kids, and afford some hobbies. A path, to earn and not be handed-out, for these things. That makes the pyramid work, and people see themselves as a nation first and an economy second. Its about managing the failure rate, 5% of society fails its those people, but if 95% of society fails then its the system. Economic successes in America shouldn't be at the social cost of 2/3rds of the pyramid. Its too vicious to continue.
