It's also indicative of another phenomenon about why being a streamer is fucking gay and miserable. It ruins games and turns it into a chore rather than a fun hobby to wind down during your free time. Getting a real job > being an online personality.

That and also it's an unstable career path. You say some stupid ass shit and get into some huge drama and everything can come crumbling down. If you can manage to become a successful streamer and make tons of money then you should invest whatever money you make. Tons of these online creators have no backup plan and end up going broke in the process when their channel is on it's deathbed.

Some Let's Play goon I used to watch eons ago was very insistent that streaming had somehow supplanted all and any standard gaming content creation, and that streams are totally the future of the internet! Meanwhile I don't think Twitch was ever able to turn in a profit even once and as we all know that site's "culture" is this very politically-correct derivative of 4chan, as shown by the incessant spamming of pepes.

I definitely prefer Rob when he did edited videos that were between the 15-to-30 minutes range. I did notice he's very very unfocused on basically all of his streams and it's honestly grating, even for putting on the background while doing something else. I'm amazed Rob hasn't realized streaming is obviously not cut for him, and that's not necessarily a bad thing, but alas.

Im not advocating life ruination, but given how many people actively despise him and how much Rob overshares, it's a recipe for disaster. There are people who would gladly call his place of employment and try to get him fired. According to him, his internet antics were enough to get him fired from his last job. If true, he learned nothing from that. This dumbfuck can't comprehend consequences even as they stack up around him.

Why would Rob need to get information about games from a GameStop employee anyways? Their job description is to sell games and pro subscriptions. They don’t need to fucking discuss plot points in obscure RPGs or give strategies for Dark Souls bosses. He could've had a chance to raise kids if Anni wasn't such an irresponsible mother who had hers taken away and most women around his age would agree he's a complete fucking loser so he has to try to hit on girls 2 decades younger than him that may be into video games because drugs, video games and acting like a badass are his whole personality. It happens a lot to women who work at GameStop. Nerds assume because there may be a faint shared hobby in video games that mean they MUST be open to talking to them and open to a potential date. Powerlevel but I have a relative who dealt with that a while ago. God forbid you wear a pokemon shirt and work at GameStop, because losers like Rob will condescendingly quiz you about said Pokémon’s starting TMs in each game while simultaneously negging them for a date. It’s awful and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Same thing happens when women wear shirts of classic rock bands or sports teams. God forbid they don't know on the fly every single song, how many drugs the singer took, how many groupies they slept with, how many championships this team won, how many home runs this player got, etc. Just leave them be, it don't gotta be a fucking quiz every time. His mom's death should've been the wake up call to put this internet shit aside and pull himself together. He should've gotten it a while ago really but if my mom died my mind wouldn't even be focused on gaming or streaming to 5 knobslobbers. Of course he'll never listen to what anyone has to say. He's a narcissist who acts like a mentally stunted 13 year old with his "I don't care what you think, I do what I want. Don't like it, get the fuck out bitch" attitude. There's no point in trying to help these people when they don't want it. They'll always think they're smarter than everyone else and push any kind of guidance away.
