Six Days in Fallujah - A military shooter about a real battle in the Iraq War, back from the dead and more controversial than ever

Bump (+ double post)

But SdiF releases today! The game is currently sitting at Mixed reviews with people mentioning the lack of a Fov slider, no option to decrease or turn off headbob, and a broken mouse sensitivity slider. They have also posted the early access content roadmap which is.....not great?

Below, you’ll find our roadmap for future content as we launch into Early Access on Steam. We’ll also have a graphic to accompany this sometime next week.

Please remember that all timing and content is subject to change.

  • Q3-2023 (July – September):
    • Night-time missions, alongside other times-of-day
    • More weather varieties that affect vision and operations
  • Q4-2023 (October – December):
    • AI teammates you lead with our “Go” command
    • One additional co-op mission
    • More systemic variables within mission simulations
  • Q1-2024 (January – March):
    • First story campaign mission
    • Civilians in co-op and campaign
    • Additional co-op mission
  • Q2-2024 (April – June) and Beyond:
    • Special Operator missions
    • Play as other coalition nationalities
    • More co-op and story campaign missions
3 months to just get different times of day and weather is a bit much, and the lack of squad AI until, at least, october is a game killer for me. I do not think this game will survive until October with only 4 missions and no single player option.

The late Christopher Hitchens said about Falujah “Al Qaeda was using the city to establish a taliban regime. You think you can fight that without casualties? You’re irresponsible.” And he also pointed out that the administration delayed sending the marines for months for gay political reasons, which made everything worse.

Hitchens was a big Iraq War simp but I haven’t heard a libtard counter to that. They just rely on most people never hearing about Falujah and then reporting the body count without context

Releasing it this early was probably a mistake tbh. I think most of us could have waited a few extra months.

40 bucks was the mistake, if this was 25 or even 30 bucks i'd say it would be worth a buy, but 40 bucks is the same price as RoN which is 100 times more polished and feature complete than 6 Days, while also having squad AI. I hope the devs quickly lower the price, i don't think the tactical game community will be very willing to shill out 40 bucks for its current state.

According to Worth A Buy the price is too high for only 3 missions and a lot of bugs.
