There are some fanart that is okay (such as the ones with Luffy), but a lot of them make NO SENSE. Grell Sutcliff? Nightmare? Nagito Komaeda? ERIC CARTMAN?! Those characters are deranged villains, they would not care about genocide!
If you're going to make political fanart, at least make it make sense and have characters that would align with the campaign you support. Otherwise, it will be like making fanart of Saint Charlos protesting against homelessness. He is a selfish and rich slave owner, keep in mind.
