This came directly from the FanFiction.Net/LiveJournal days. I watched this mindset develop over the years as it happened, so the current zeitgeist doesn't surprise me at all.

That's because Tumblr purged the porntroons years ago, and they all went to Twitter. The people left behind tend to be those who were genuinely in it just for the art and community and are much less psychotic as a result ("tend to" being the key phrase) Mark my words if that didn't happen, it'd be virtually nothing but Tumblr screenshots in this thread right now.

I'm too scared to fucking know whatever the fuck happened to that fandom today. Like i think the worst things i saw was the rule 34 ellie subreddit, nsfw gay art, and slapfights over ships. I left long ago because it's not worth to stay in fandom full of children. another example of a funny game gets ruined by the internet lol.

You can smell the narcissism in every single fanart there, my God. These "artists" don't actually give a shit about Palestine, they're using it to get clout and spread their own artwork while the thousands of people that they'll never truly lift a single finger for are getting blown to Kingdom Come.

It's pure selfishness and attention whoring, and we all know they'll immediately jump ship when a more trendy "pet cause" appears, lol. It happened with BLM and it will happen with Palestine, mark my words. :story:

This thread just reminds me of how bad pooners are compared to the typical mtf troons. I always see a bunch of people say "oh ftms aren't as bad as mtf, they're just quirky and living their lives", but I highly suspect these same people have never had the displeasure of interacting with the exact type of pooners who make shitty art like this who are the most odious cesspit of human imaginable. mtfs are bad, ftms are even worse but not as frequently seen so everyone doesn't give a fuck about them. But when they come up in your crosshairs, they are the biggest snakes in the river. Not to mention, wasn't Adam like the 'big bad' of the show? (I have not watched it, I just lurk on the thread. Don't need to watch it if others will watch it and give synopsis). Making the bad guy black would probably just cause issues with the same people they're trying to pander to, since black people can't do no wrong/be the antagonists.
