As someone from a country with universal healthcare. I can testify its not the utopic thing the left wants to think it is.
An acquaintance was suffering a lot from kidney stones. He had the surgery covered, he was operable but the doctors simply gave him pain meds and sent him home over and over. His family had to get legal action.

American lefties are only aware of universal healthcare from reddit and twitter where Eurofags and canucks use it as some sort of gotcha to win online arguments with amerimutts. You'd think five seconds researching MAID in Canada or how Japanese hospitals will just not accept patients after 9pm to realize socialized medicine isn't some sort of magical utopia, but American politics is a clowncar where nobody researches anything, we just adopt whichever politics pisses off our parents and yell about it until someone shoots up the local school.

The funny thing is that something simular did occur and caused a lot of drama in the TOH fandom. The main heroine, while dating a girl, is a canon bisexual, yet all the artists who wanted to fan-ship her with a blonde dude for fun got shit-piled for "gay erasure". I bet that if Luz was male, none of these spoiled bitches would even acknowledge the existence of Amity, his girlfriend, and would focus exclusively on making porn of him and other male characters while bragging about how it's okay because he's bi.

These people do not want equality, they want power and dominance over everything. The only reason they fret about heteronormativity is because they want the opposite to be the norm and to make hetero a voiceless minority. A bunch of control freaks, I tell ya.

I remember something similar happening in the Pokemon anime Sun and Moon series. There's a popular yuri pairing between Mallow/Mao and Lillie because there was an episode where they made a reference to the yuri anime "Revolutionary Girl Utena”. Even though Mallow/Mao and Lillie never officially became canon, (nor would this mean either girl was a full on lesbian) fans still accuse people of "gay erasure" if you dare ship Ash and Lillie together, or Mallow and Ash. Personally, as someone who has watched Sun and Moon, I think Mallow could be bisexual since you can interpret a lot of scenes with her showing interest in Ash, Lillie, Lana, and even Kiawe at times as something more. Though again, this is still considered "gay erasure" since it seems like the current LGBT community hates bisexuals.

This is so funny to me, some TIF watched Rocky (Or watched a few clips on youtube since half of these losers don't even consume the material they project themself onto) and decided to draw the very clearly born male as trans. Like this isn't a cartoon, this is real actor you see shirtless, boxing other men who obviously doesn't have chest scars in the films, how delusional can you be to project yourself onto this as a TIF. And even ERs aren't safe from long wait times, as they're so bad that some people even literally die while waiting in the ER and then choosing to give up and go home. There's also the issues of medical malpractice incidents in Canada, since the system is fixed to be in favor of the doctors, patients that get botched procedures are unlikely to get ANY compensation.

Honestly I find the "gotta headcanon EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER as gay/trans" crowd far more annoying than the Futa/shemale/trap fetishists. I needed an x-ray for my knee and had to get it at a private clinic. If I were to get it at the hospital I would still be waiting. It was for like 2028.
There is also stories in my country of pregnant women that get an ultrasound appointment and not only they get it scheduled by the the time they kid is already born, but when they are like 3 years old.

I hate that too and they completely miss the point of Metal Sonic's character when they turn him into a troon obsessing over frou-frou gender crap and portray him as a bby smol bean with his robo "family". Don't get me started on how they depict daddy eggman as a caring doting father that assists Metal's transitiion by modifying his chassis to be a "female" (High heels, skirt and occasionally boobs) and accepts him as a "daughter" .
Despite the fact that Eggman treats him like shit in the games. The dood left Metal to rot alone on little planet. Nuff said and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

I always loved the duality motif that Metal Sonic and Sonic had in the games. Metal replicates pretty much all of Sonic's natural abilities (speed and all) with technology. . Also ties into the subtle Nature vs. Technology motif in the games (especially CD). He always had a killer instinct, In CD he (or at least a hologram of him) is shown kicking and stomping on random animals, which contrasts to how Sonic rescues animals.
Metal's identity issues in Heroes were not over gender or trooning, but over the fact that he was literally created for the sole purpose of destroying Sonic. He technically isn't his own person just a copy of someone else , thus he sought to assert himself as "the real sonic" by killing Sonic.
