Yeah although kinnies tend to gravitate to anime-styled media more. A lot of them are trans men, transmasc, or female-born nonbinary (you will rarely find a kinnie who isn’t trans) who project onto male anime characters. They “kindate” (larp with another trans man as their favorite m/m pairing, chuuya x dazai for example is a popular one) and get angry when they see people who kin the same character as them.
