I've watched the series and plenty of the movies back in the day and it's kind of an open secret that Lupin and Jigen may have some sort of bromance going. Then again same could be said for the whole cast since they're all tight knit so they're all either fucking or killing eachother. This is an adult franchise for a reason lmfao, I love Castle of Cagliostro but it's very PG compared to something like the 2010s OVAs which I really recommend if you want something closer to the manga.
Jigen has had female love interests throughout the series so it's debatable whether he's bi or a closeted gay. Lupin the IIIrd is a long running series with so many adaptations that this all depends, but in the OG manga he isn't AS apprehensive about women and has a girlfriend that hasn't miraculously died or betrayed him like everywhere else (hence his self-proclaimed misogyny).

She was just a piece of world building since it was probably a question of if any humanoid Octolings got affected by the sanitation. I'm sure we'll probably see Octarians affected by Mr. Grizz's fuzz ooze as well and she'll be a musician too.

Cool concept of seeing her before she got affected but the whole nonbinary bullshit is pure American retardation. Japan's way of not using specific pronouns is different from fatass ugly americans.

If anything she's probably another musician avatar. Maybe she'll have a bigger role in Splatoon 4 as a main idol for the game?

As a side note, Ever notice how these people think "good chemistry" in couples is just constantly kissing, cuddling etc. And if they see a straight couple do that they would consider it "toxic"?

There is this artist I saw that just draw this Yuri couple from a Gundam show having sex, thinking about having sex with each other, or masturbating to pics of one another. They try to make it look "cutesy and wholesome" but its clearly a relationship built entirely on sex. And you KNOW if it was a straight couple, It would be called out as "toxic".

Update: the concept art is real. I'm including the download as well as the .pdf that has been uploaded yesterday to this post for the sake of posterity (and because I'm sure some of you will find it interesting).

Since the subject has been brought up, I thought I would also post it here since Bankara Walker includes an extra story that seems to focus on Acht/Dedf1sh and Marina from pages 278 to 283. I would not be surprised if the devs had a lot of plans for the character (and Sanitized Octarians in general) and then all of it was scrapped because Side Order as criminally-underbaked.​
