You know, this kind of shit really makes me feel better about myself. I've been nervous to start a webcomic forever because of the enormous amount of dedication and prep work that could potentially go into such a project, and to see this person just so obviously not give a fuck about the quality of their work... It just reminds me, that it doesn't fucking matter. No matter what absolute garbage I pump out, it will never be as bad as the adventures of brocolli-steven universe, the fire princess from adventure time, uglier bismuth from steven universe, and purple ET in a wig.

I can't WAIT for this webcomic to come out gaiz, I'm about to be mad inspired.

Seems a lot of people are getting riled up over the characters in this show being too white. The do know the characters are all designed by a black guy, the same guy who created the show... right?

This is a guy who laughed off those SU editors who made all the characters white and blonde doing the same to his Twitter avatar, which was a cartoon drawing of him. Of course his opinions on black characters don't mean shit to them.

I feel like a lot of the art here is relegated to just two types of "bad"- amateurish, or dumb headcanons. But there's something I think we need to discuss in this thread more often: cool art styles put to unfitting or stupid use.

I see a lot of styles like this- trippy, Yellow Submarine-esque shit with exaggerated features- for anime fanart. Why!? A style like this lends itself so much better to illustrations. This art style would be right at home on a skateboard or album cover, but it just doesn't work for slash-shipping fanart.

By the way, this was an intentional use of style- this person knows proper anatomy and more fitting styles, but instead chose this. God only knows why.
