It's cringey but it's also really genuine, or earnest. As self-indulgent as that kind of drawing is, you can tell that the artist really does love those characters.

You know, this is really funny considering the source material. Mulan pretends to be a man so she can spare her father from the war, so when they try to make her trans, they unintentionally implied that trannies are just pretending to be the other sex and not authentic lol.

Agreed. I know several OC x canon shippers, and they’re so chill and earnest. Pretty damn good artists/writers, too. They really get who the characters are and don’t try to change how they look or act to fit some kind of agenda. I’d much rather see people engaging in fandom this way and having genuine fun than the SJW “everything revolves around social labels” types.

It's kinda subtle, but notice the different tones with the way she responds to her fans. If she agrees with you, she's chill. If she doesn't agree with you however, she gets passive aggressive. She could easily just ignore the comments that she disagrees with and move on with her life. Instead, she's so persistent with zeroing in on the comments with different opinions from her own. Also apparently- someone on Deviantart pointed out how Lopoddity is nearing her thirties... imagine being in Lopoddity's shoes. Imagine being a thirty year old that likes to vent their mommy and daddy issues by obsessing over a children's TV show about magical ponies... that's wild. I just find her kinda... creepy (?) to say the least. Anybody else agree?
