Anyway, one thing that's kind of always struck me about Skylar is that while most cows are a walking embodiment of Dunning Kruger, Skylar seems to be an example of "encouraged" Dunning Kruger. I get the impression that he's always been told by his parents at least (his mother in particular), that he's perfect, his opinions are infallible, he's the best at everything, etc. Perhaps she realized early on that she had a sped on her hands, and went out of her way to baby him. I think that's why when Carroll booted him he chimped so hard, that may have been the first real push back he's ever experienced in his life, I don't think he was ever told "NO" at any point. He seems to have been deliberately sheltered for a good portion of his life, and that's why his interactions with normal, everyday people are awkward at best.

You flatter me. It's true that he's become something of a pet lolcow for me and he has a particular hateboner for me (which I find amusing), but I didn't do anything but share stuff that he posted publicly under his own name. For that matter, Skylar is no Vordrak; as much as the latter is a sped, he has managed to inconvenience and fuck over Null to at least some extent, which is more than I think we'll ever be able to say about Skylar.
Yup, his mom went to bat for him in his spat with the Carroll administrators and their leaked texts say a lot about their relationship, his father was the leader of his scout troop so I'd wager he got away with being an asshole there thanks to him, and prior to college he was homeschooled so he never had to get along with anyone or follow rules.

If you involve your parents in any sort of official proceedings after you've hit 18, there's something wrong with you unless you're on trial for something and they're paying for your lawyer. I suspect that all his "clients" for his "business" have been arranged by his parents, or they were involved in some way.
I wonder if he has a driver's license.

I dropped those exact verses on someone in another forum, and they replied: "that's a bunch of liberal crap". When told those were the words of Jesus himself, they were livid. That was a rare response because most people, when told they're doing Christianity wrong just do the mental gymnastics that let people be prosperity gospel preachers and brush it off.
Skylar is depressingly common. It's actually people like Skylar who make people question their faith and deconvert. Or, to quote a famous heathen, "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians, they are so unlike your Christ."

Even Jesus himself pointed out that long after he'd be gone, there would be people who utterly missed the point of everything he said and act just like the Pharisees he spent a long time calling out on their moral hypocrisy.
Skylar is just the latest in a long line of people Jesus would have facepalmed at.

It's only real requirement is a decent CPU, and a very good CPU if you want to handle AMPLIFIED mode, but otherwise, yes, it will run on some amazingly garbage PCs.

Also, the pursuit of earthly wealth was not compatible with salvation. It's ok to have enough money to live off, but you're supposed to help the poor. In fact, if you believe in the second coming, all these "fuck the poor" so-called Christians are damning themselves to hell. Read the bit about the sheep and goats judgment. Oh, and the part about putting gays to death? Well, first off, that's in the Old Testament, and Jesus fulfilled Old Testament law. That's why Christians don't have to follow the dietary restrictions. Also, Leviticus said lots of things were punishable by death, including eating shellfish and wearing blended clothing. The New Testament does imply that homosexuality is a sin, but so are lots of other things, and sin separates you from God, which is a fate worse than death (Christians aren't supposed to fear physical death). Pride is also a sin, and God does not distinguish between sins. Skylar's got some pennace ahead of him. Skylar, do you tithe? Go to confession? Volunteer at a charity? Anything?
