Hey maybe this is more suited to a PM but I read Thursday in high school and was confused as fuck. What the hell happened? I know Chesterton said in the preface to remember it was a nightmare, but it didn't much help me.

I don't think he did anything. Stripe has suspended all Bitcoin. Probably because as a result of its wild fluctuations in value, people actually using it as a payment method has ground nearly to a halt. Ironically, the very attributes that make BTC a great store of value make it a terrible currency.

It's funny to see Skylar accuse someone of stalking when he's the gentlesir that followed around a lady trying to do her job for 45 minutes while making vague threats and impotently flailing his appendages about and making an unsolicited video. This thread blew up because he tried turning it into a PA request against said administrator, just because she tried to contain his autism. He got reprimanded for taking pictures of peoples children without permission and posting them on facebook and refusing to take them down because "muh rights". He's got a pretty good track record as a stalker, so he should know it when he sees it. It's not a-logging to say you want Skylar to go to heaven because that's a good thing, right?

My "Bitcoin suspension" was a glitch and Stripe didn't even know why it was happening. I was setting up a new website (dontsell.me) with Stripe, and it decided to disable Bitcoin for some reason, despite the fact I had never used it yet. This email was sent back in August:

Hi Skylar,

Thanks for reaching out about this.. I was able to take a look into the occurrence and it appears the suspension has occurred on our partner side. Though this has come up, I went ahead and escalated this upward to see if we can get your re-enabled as soon as possible. If you have any additional questions in the interim, please feel free to let me know; otherwise, looking forward to getting to the bottom of this.

I guess they don't have the best customer service, seeing as that was the last I heard from them until they stopped supporting Bitcoin for everyone else too.

Also, I sold a small amount of Bitcoin because I wanted to buy something with it. I'm still HODLing the rest.
