I totally agree. If you have a look on the ratings thread, you can see that most of them are actually fairly handsome already.

There's a funny thread where a guy asks to be rated, and he looks about as close to movie star/model level as anyone you're likely to meet. Some guy recommends him like 4 different plastic surgeries. Some of them mock him for still not getting laid despite the fact he looks good. But no one looks at it and thinks "Maybe looks aren't the most important thing here."

Very few of us are Captain Picard. The point I was driving at is that these sad sacks like to think in absolutes. "Balding makes you look older, and looking older automatically makes you incel. It's impossible for a pretty woman to love a bald man. IMPOSSIBRU."

But the thing about absolutes is that it only takes one counterexample to fuck up their entire point. My counterexample is a bald man in his 70s who married a beautiful and successful career artist 40 years his junior, almost as if his personality and accomplishments mattered more than his appearance or age. Whodathunk?

To be fair, loveshies don't seem to do much thinking, do they?

To be fair, having a shitload of money can compensate for a lack of physical beauty, and even a bad personality, but only up to a point. However, if you have a decent personality you don't even need the money. More than health or wealth, that's what really should be worked on first, but it's the last thing these twits would ever even consider.

No way! There's a website dedicated to hating me, you know, the kind of chick who turns down creeps, or flat out ignores them! Because what do I know? I'm a woman, feminism has made me into a hateful bitch who doesn't know a nice guy when she sees them. I should go for more nice guys with neckbeards and fedoras and micro penises, right?

Seriously, though, most of these guys would consider me a slut not just because I'm a woman, but also because I don't do the whole monogamy thing. And I'm happy that way, I don't feel horrible or anything. I've met some really awesome people, I've gone out with really awesome people. I'm not ready to settle down yet, but I've had crushes, and friends who I've been attracted to. That being said, I do tell the guy or girl that I'm with that I'm not monogamous, and most of the people I've been with are more relieved than anything else. I think more and more people around my age are in the same boat is me, and the sluthate people aren't gonna like it.

OK, the fedoras and neckbeards are pretty obvious to even the casual observer. And we'll give them the benefit of the doubt about being "nice guys"; I mean isn't that what they think all that holding doors open stuff is all about? And that's pretty easy to spot as well.

But I shudder to ask how you learned of the micro-penises.

To be honest, whenever I see something like that, the last thing I'm going to do is speculate about what it might have in its pants. Such lines of inquiry can never end well.

The funniest part to me is how they are completely missing the point. Even more than women, beyond certain basics in health and hygiene, physical appearance is only peripherally connected to attractiveness in men. Short, fat, bald, dumpy guys succeed with beautiful women all the time; it's just a question of personality. I don't want to sidetrack into some PUA "what works" dumbassery, but making women laugh is a hell of a lot more effective (especially long term) than making them swoon.

But these twits at sluthate don't get that. And to my mind their "rate me" goofiness doesn't even strike me as particularly homosexual (or "gay" or whatever). They actually remind me of nothing so much as a bunch of junior high school girls all desperately fishing for complements from each other. And failing.
