They still crow on and on about the anti-Semitic jokes of South Park, despite Matt Stone being Jewish though (unsure about Trey Parker, did a quick google search and it doesn't really say anything about his ethnic background, not like I actually give a fuck). And it's not just DJ Spit, they had a white guy do a stereotypical Indian accent in the Hell episode and a white guy did the Brazilian guy with a Brazilian accent in the Brazil episode. I thought these fags believed that a white guy doing a fun accent of a minority was tantamount to a hate crime? Didn't they kill off a great Simpsons character just for this dumb reason? The fuck happened?

You are probably right that they don't give a fuck because their perpetually online cult has arbitrarily decided "we like Smiling Friends" so they just ignore all the "problematic jokes", but I just can't understand why they live like this personally. Nothing forces them to lie and pretend offensive jokes are "cringe" as that guy says in the video. He contradicts himself in the statement I quoted by trying to twist himself into pretzels justifying why he likes the offensive humor in Smiling Friends, but not when its written badly like in Family Guy or w/e. They clearly find them funny when they are done creatively and well as they show with their enjoyment of Smiling Friends, so why not just accept that offensive jokes can be funny? No, because that's wrongthink I guess.

Of course the Mr President episode is his choice for worst, and of course he snidely weasels around Doug's cameo (who he hates because his side is supposed to hate him), and of course he pays lip service to "cancel culture criticism is bad" regarding Mr Frog, this fucking faggot.

That said, he does say no episode is bad, just some are less good than others. And claims his issues with the President episode are mostly about the guy being gross and unlikeable, but I hold firm that anyone who doesn't like that episode is upset that they think they made fun of their guy, or that they didn't make fun of the other guy enough, or both; and regarding Mr Frog, he excused the cancel culture thing because of how over the top Frog's crimes were, beyond what anyone cancelled in real life would be guilty of, and was instead more bothered about the subplot demonstrating how studios sanitize the "toxic" shit and then the products suck.

Now, putting aside this fucking faggot, I've noticed that, in conversations here and elsewhere and in various tierlists I've seen, there's not much of a consensus. There's no widely agreed best or worst episode, and in fact I've seen people rank nearly every episode at nearly every tier.
I think that speaks of the generally consistent quality of the show, and also the variety of concepts and types of humor and other things it explores, leading to a lot of people having drastically different opinions.

Except I think for Gwimbly. I don't think I've seen anyone consider it bad or rate it low.

I wasn't completely grossed out by President Jimble like some people were. I was more distracted by what a lousy actor he was. But I guess that was the point.

While the President Jimble episode was my least favorite of the season, I still consider it a good and funny episode, just the weakest of the season. And they perfectly cast President Jimble, it reminds me of how big of a lolcow Perry Caravello is but he worked perfectly in the Salty's episode during season 1.

Imo the weakest episode is A Alan Adventure, while it has really great moments like the triumphant return of DJ Spit, Alan himself doesn't really do anything interesting in the episode. His best moments are him being the straight man and not caring about his job, but he doesnt react to anything or have an interesting job to do is the problem.

And the landlord wasn't funny at all in my opinion, I wish they'd gone with a different vibe for him. Like the shy pushover landlord that struggles to ask for rent but was actually behind multiple felonies the entire time, I think that would have worked better.

I genuinely did not like the Alien episode, I found it really dull, and the only funny part was the flat earth reveal at the end.
Also somebody said the episodes need to have B plots or they feel really short and after rewatching, I heartily agree

I love how nervous I get when he’s on screen. It’s a guessing game of what destruction he’s going to cause.

Definitely want more Mr. Frog over the course of the show.

On my re-watch I actually personally like the Mr. President episode the most.

Mainly because it feels like Zach got to sneak in a lot of jokes in that one. The phone briefly showing "Industrial Society and Its Consequences" which of course none of the usual suspects who would hate such a joke has noticed, a somewhat subtle 9/11 joke with "Doesn't matter which channel" which is known to us as OneyPlays viewers but probably not to general audiences & execs at Adult Swim, a joke strongly suggesting Mr. Boss is going to assassinate the President (probably wouldn't have gotten that passed the censors now), a major plot point suggesting that the media is both supporting and part of an elitist conspiracy that controls our leadership to their own class benefit, Charlie depicted as the stock "crazy homeless conspiracy nut" after he actually learned the truth, etc.

I also just like the message of it, how it is a commentary on political leaders, their incompetence as shown in Jimble with how so many of them have failed upwards to their positions, their reluctance to give up power because they need it for the validation of their fragile ego (as said earlier in the thread, an unintentional great timing with the episode), the power of the media, and how it kind of indicts the entire system at the end but not in a preachy gay "I learned something today" way ala South Park or entirely idealist/cynical like in other shows. There's just so many ways for an episode centered around lampooning current politics to go horribly wrong, the fact that even those who dislike this episode won't say it's outright bad is kind of an achievement on it's own.
