Well yeah because anyone who can't see bros being bros as just that are either fags or fujos so they see everything though a gay lens anyway.
It's particularly noticeable in SF because all five of the characters that work at the SF are established to be interested in the opposite sex - Glep has a wife, Charlie has/had Zoey and thinks he's an alpha male who can score chicks whenever he wants, Pim not only fell for Rebecca but whenever he has daydreams about a family it's exclusively with a wife and kids, Allan wakes up with some random woman in his bed and Mr. Boss was described as a "horndog" and says that he's chased after "hot young tail".
Granted, there's smooching from males to other males here and there but it's almost always either to enunciate Pim's kindness and open affection (Desmond, his dad, a bird, the century egg, etc) or it's for a joke (Allan's "nom" which came back in a later ep as an awkward convo, Mr. Boss sharing a sloppy one with Oscar, etc). Dudes kissing dudes is a little gay and that's funny, but shippers don't seem to know that it's more often than not a joke at their expense.
They really do just wanna make everything lame and gay. It's like they heard the convo Zach and Michael had about how they saw the edit of Pim and Charlie kissing in the Salty's episode and said "oh that would've been funny if they kissed just to like relieve stress"" and use it as a justification for why the ship is "valid". Then they ignore how Michael also said that Pim legit wants to settle down and have a wholesome life with a family (a nuclear family, with a woman and several kids as going by his daydreams) because "Oh see that they said they should kiss I knew it I'm right about my headcanons"
